This camera shot reminded me Katy's bonnet needed some attention.
Screenshot_20250723-093652.Blink.png

So, I took it off, sanded it a little, primed it and painted. My sister (with a little assistance from Katy) helped me get it back on the FOP yesterday evening, so I just have to put the bolts back in and reattach the lights.

A couple things on the go. Did some watering and am refilling the tanks.

While that's happening I did some pruning. Found a few branches that the L didn't fit under while mowing on Friday.

Really like that grill guard. Especially the color.

I do believe that is the one i'm gonna have to go with.
This is the second 5elevendesignz.com grill guard I've had. The first one saved my grill and other components at twice. The grill guard and front tie downs were the first thing I did to the tractor before putting it to work.

I really like that idea with the totes in the trailer. (I plan to do that with my dump wagon). That’s a really nice set up you have 👍.

I wonder, is it mostly flat at your place?
does that trailer have brakes or rely on the tractor to stop?
How do the brakes do when you need them with that much weight pushing the machine?

I’ve not had a problem with my wagon, but I’d also like to get a larger wagon or trailer at some point so I can make better use of a trips back and forth across the properties.

anyway that pair of the tractor and trailer looks great!

Thank you. My property is pretty much flat that letting off of the accelerator brings it to a stop. I do use the park brake if the water is sloshing. The trailer doesn't have any brakes and I dont think it is even a option on it. Pros of two tanks is double the water. The con is It takes twice as long to fill.

I took advantage of the cooler temps this morning to cut my 3 + miles of two track trails. I also cut the "rifle range" unit that includes my wildlife pond.

Great day to spend time on the tractor.

Had a low hanging limb from a neighbor’s water oak that’s been annoying the crap outta me. So got the overpriced wheelbarrow out and stood in the bucket (about 4’ off the ground) and relieved the tree of some of its burden.

IMG_4023.jpeg

I’m preparing for a complete overhaul of my deck, and so put the clampon forks on to move some stuff for flower pots etc outta the way.
IMG_4024.jpeg

I don’t have quite enough reach for the deck surface, so I just stacked 5 pallets and put the stuff on the deck onto the top pallet. That saved a LOT of trips up and down a flight of 14 steps with a 7.5” x 12” pitch

Note to self: get more new pallets. I’ve had these about 4 years and they’re getting pretty rotten.

I'm not even sure brakes are needed on these newer HST's lol.

Cutting in light dew in the 3301, truckin' along full speed in M, if I let out quick the back tires would skid in the grass.

The 3560 I adjusted the hst settings. Wasn't going to, but when they first delivered her, she was super jumpy starting off. Backed off the forward a bit as well as the reverse. Not quite as jumpy but can still slide the back tires in dewy grass.

In low, driving down my steep pond dam, I can let off and the tractor will just about hold its spot.

Is ktac replacing the grill as well?
They damn well better LOL!

Trying to figure out tool storage for the L5460. For a tractor of this size you think they could of made some kind of attempt of a tool box.

I know. I just end up keeping a couple wrenches in that little pocket at your lower left.

Saw a couple folks fabbing one up where the passenger step is though. Looked pretty good.

I actually just got a text from the service writer at our kubota dealership. Sent me a claim number and said they're coming to get her

Funny though he definitely did not say when lol. At some point in the near future i reckon.

One step further along. Hopefully they will have everything on hand so it gets back home faster.

I added some gussets to the ballast box to reinforce the pins.
