That sucks…Do your have KTAC? If you got it, might as well use it. I hope you got everything straightened out…no pun intended😉. I did something similar a few years ago and KtAC to the rescue. I ordered a brush guard and skid plate the same afternoon the dealer hauled her off🙄. 🍻
Might be a good time for a 5elevendesignz.com grill guard. Mine has saved my grill a few times.

Move some more cull logs today. I finally dried up enough to get to them. This is one of the bigger logs I was able to move without cutting it in two logs. The glove gives a good idea how big this log is. It was heaver then I thought it would be.

Brought equipment back from dealer and went to park trailer ( pulled by dump truck). Had son as spotter as ground is soaked from all this rain. Despite dually tires and 4wd, got truck stuck in mud (grumbled at son's spotting skills). Got the L6060 out with receiver hitch on 3 pt hitch and pulled on trailer rear end with chain aiming it in better position downhill and pulled trailer and truck back to solid ground. Disconnected truck from trailer and used tractor to back trailer into it's spot. Much easier to maneuver than truck/trailer combo. Was too busy swearing to get any pics but everyone knows what mud looks like. Plenty of new, deep ruts to fix if the ground ever dries up. Seems I'm always creating extra work so it never gets boring.

Finally got the hydraulic top link installed. Too wet to use the tractor though. Hat tip to FitRite Hydraulics…Brian made a kit for me and it was simple install, just follow the instructions and it operated very smooth. They also made up a kit for my wagon but I’ll post a couple pics of the wagon in the implements/attachments section. Brian was extremely easy to work with and very patient work out the details for everything to be compatible with my machine and the extra planned use of the winch. Thanks FItRite (Brian)
I appreciate you.

I was able to use the new top link to hitch up the winch for first time. Was planning to actually install the winch, however I think the vendor gave me the wrong the PTO shaft so I have not cut / installed. Hopefully we will get that worked out. The top link seems like a game changer…I think it will come in really handy with my brush cutter.

Happy Hydraulic Holiday Weekend everyone!

That looks great, but what all is that attachment? Looks like a winch, but it looks like there is more to it.

Yes it is a winch…check the link below.

as far as assembly…Well, it’s not completely assembled, but really only thing missing is the guard (fence) and the PTO shaft. Otherwise it’s intact.

I do have Ktac. Hopefully it goes as smooth as most say it does.

We're about to come into the busiest time for our farm so i'm gonna have to live with for about 2 months till I can do without her.

Some form of grill guard will definitely have to get put on this round.

I bet it has.

I am diggin the design of that one for sure!

Things were wetter than I thought and I ended up with a lot of mud caked onto the spoons.

Gave it a blast with the pressure washer. Need to knock out some rocks out of a few of the spoons and grease it before i put it away.

Oddly, all the mud off the aerator ended up all over the back of the tractor ao I gave it a bath.

Think how good those weights would work if they were painted Kubota orange 😝

I finally was able to mow…between rain, work, travel and a funeral, it got out of hand. Good news is I compost…bad news is I rake it by hand. (Seems like those members with landscape rakes or goats are onto something). I went ahead and mowed a second time after raking as it did a crappy job first cut.

Fixed a broken zirk on the BH bucket. Threads are wiped out on the cylinder so plugged it. Drilled and tapped a new hole where the zirk won't get mashed (3rd or 4th time). Greased everything and checked and topped off all liquids.

Enough for now. time to get the coals going!

Refilled the fuel tank. 4.5 gallons to bottom edge of the fuel cap opening. Took a look at the manual. 6.6 gallon capacity. Fuel gauge isn't very accurate. ~1/8 sitting more or less on a flat surface. Idiot light goes on when heading up a moderately steep incline (~10% grade). In the future will refill the tank when the gauge read 1/2 or more. Saturday noticed after over an hour of run time the gauge barely budged.

The only accurate fuel gauge I've ever had in any machine was a stick.

Transplanted a small evergreen to an opening where I lost a few white pines over the winter from winds along my property line. First time attempting something like this so we will see. Project was made possible by the BH77

Used the small wanna be Kubota on some tight trails this morning. Plugged the deck with heavy Dandelion growth and needed to clean it out. Used the corral panel with rough cut 3x6's and used a 2x6 wheel choke which also prevented possible spreading. Redundantly added two jack stands. Working from both sides never needed to have more than an arm underneath.

2 new cherry trees and two new apple trees planted last year are doing great.

My Dandelion Controller was busy at work.

Greased the aerator and put it away. Hooked up the FDR2584 and mowed my bil's 5 acres and then blew out the air filter, screens and rad. Filled it with diesel and called it a night.
