Due to pouring rain today where i live, i went out to the garage and petted her hood. Does that count?
nerwin, i`m not trying to be the internet safety police, or ruin your day my friend, but PLEASE learn how to SAFELY SECURE those straps correctly before you get hurt. That video was hard to watch. I was waiting for that strap to fly off like a rubberband and hit you. I`ve seen people use unsafe practices like this many times in my life, the end result wasn`t pretty. Safety First! It could save your life, or someone else`s.Just posted a new video of me getting out that giant stump!
Also welding on the bucket hooks this morning...I'll share later how they come out!
GOOD JOB MISTER!Welded on the bucket hooks today. I think these are gonna be handy!

Haha, I wasn't worried about these straps. I pulled a lot more heavy things with them. But appreciate the advice. Unfortunately it's all I had on hand at the time so I took the risk. But I won't be doing it again, I need to get some proper straps. At the end of the day I got what I wanted done. Don't plan on doing anything like this again anyways, too much work.nerwin, i`m not trying to be the internet safety police, or ruin your day my friend, but PLEASE learn how to SAFELY SECURE those straps correctly before you get hurt. I've been happy with the one that I bought a few months back. It did throw one of the belts for some reason. Easily wrapped it back on.Hard rain all day so ran th HF to grab a cheap compactor. I'm slow so renting one would have cost the same. I decided to take a chance with 3 different projects lined up. Luckily the RTV is the same height as my truck so was able to slide it right on the RTV and bring it down to my shop to prep. Hopefully it works. I have been watching craigslist for years for one but most were totally beat or overpriced. Can't use the 2 hand tampers I have anymore with the muscle problems from long covid I was diagnosed with.

I was surprised that it came with an extra set of belts, airfilter, and carburetor jets for high altitude. Hopefully the rubber isolators holding the pad last. I was thinking about trying to grind some radiuses on the plate long sides so it doesn't catch when turning.I've been happy with the one that I bought a few months back. That hitch looks great.I got the brush guard and front weight bracket installed this morning with the help of the MX and some chains. There's plenty of clearance between the loader and weight bracket, but obviously you can't have weights and the loader on the tractor at the same time ... but why would anyone want to do that anyway!
I removed the loader, got 8 of 10 weights on the tractor, removed the PITA PTO cover, greased a bunch of components, filled up the windshield washer fluid reservoir, blew a ton of dust out of the air filter, radiator, condenser, oil cooler etc., and finally got the disc hooked up. I'll be loading up the trailer in the morning and heading to the discing job after I've topped off the M6060 fuel tank.
I added one more feature to the pintle drawbar. I've wanted to add rear tie down points on both tractors for more than a few years, and today I took a step in that direction. A bit of flat bar welded to the drawbar (as a stop), and a large D-ring will do the trick. The D-ring slips over the drawbar and is free to rotate as needed.
All in all a productive but tiring few days. Sitting in the tractor for a few hours tomorrow will be a cake walk compared to all of the cutting, grinding, drilling, tapping, lifting, welding, painting and wrench turning I've been doing over the past few days.

I bought 4 of the Harbor Freight 20 ft g70 chains years ago and haven't been able to break them yet. Left one 20 ft, made one 2- 10 footers, another 4 -5 footers, and the last 3 - 6 1/2 footers. They usually have big sales on them. Nice having an assortment of lengths. I have no idea if they are really certified though. Can anyone recommend good quality 5/16" G70 chains? Looking to get some to use for the bucket and for logging. Amazon has 8 billion chains that are probably junk, I don't want junk.
strong work!!I can't believe, but I got that big ol' stump out!!!!
It took me a week worth of digging with a shovel, swinging an axe and using a wrecking bar. The tractor couldn't lift it very well but once I removed most the dirt from the stump I was able to move and lift it a little with the bucket. I never dug out a stump this big before
I also made up a couple with the slide hooks like chokers for pulling logs and brush. Found a nice twisted clevis but only had a one inch pin so had to make a brass bushing for the draw bar to keep it from rattlingCan anyone recommend good quality 5/16" G70 chains?
