I used the EA box blade on the back of the MX this evening to do a bit more leveling of the gravel that my neighbors had delivered, and that was rather unprofessionally dumped on the lower driveway. I also did a bit more cutting/dirt moving on the new driveway I'm putting in.
I was reminded that a box blade is a really useful tool and I would have to choose it over the EA land leveler if I could only have one or the other. Luckily I have both, but the land leveler is better at leaving a nice finish on a reasonably flat and level driveway and not so good at moving material around to get a flat and level driveway.
One final thought ... this MX is the cat's meow running around at 2,100 rpm in mid range. It'll pull a fully loaded box blade up hill with ease in mid range. My property is very hilly and the MX handles it like a champ regardless of the task. Such a great tractor and frankly I couldn't, and wouldn't go smaller given what I do and where I do it. I do wish that the 3-point control was smoother. The M6060 control is so smooth in comparison, and therefore much easier to use when trying to adjust the position of the implement.
