Well I fed the breefers, chickens fired up kubota and cleaned barns put another round bale out move beef around to prep next Saturday got some going to butcher. Bedded barn up with tractor drained water tubs lugged them with kubota to barn to wash. Oh and before I did that set up my wife with her sale tent on this rainy day she was at a town harvest festival selling maple products. She just got home and said she did well and is sending some to Texas, some to Arizona and north Carolina for customers who paid her to pack and ship them.

Removed the backhoe for the winter and installed new quick hitch. Didn’t have it last year and what a PITA to swap implements. Guess I won’t have the 1-hr attachment swap excuse for the wife anymore 🤓

picked it up from GWT where I bought my snow pusher and tiller. Great sales and service.https://www.goodworkstractors.com/product/category-1-e-hitch-quick-hitch/

Dug out a spot for a hot tub. Put some gravel/rock dust in the hole and need to finish it off with a plate compactor.

Then I cleaned up a pile of dirt, dead grass and branches.

Finally got around to replacing the hard lines on my loader.
When I bought this rig, the lines were severely bent where they go across the front. Obviously, the previous owner had lowered the loader while the grill guard was open. I had bought new ones last year, but was waiting on the right opportunity to change them out.
A couple of weeks ago, while repacking a cylinder, I noticed a hose was cracking bad so I ordered a new one. BIL volunteered to help, so I decided to replace the hard lines and the new hose.
Well, I wasn't born yesterday so we tagged all the lines and hoses before we disconnected anything. But I didn't pull up the parts list to verify where each new line was supposed to go. After fiddling around for a couple of hours, we figured out one (not sure which one) of the new lines was made wrong and we reused one of the old ones, which fortunately only needed a little straightening to look good as new.
So, what should have been a one hour job turned into all morning.

Wife jumped on the B1700 to mow and I took the B3200 out and fell a nice sized dead white oak. Trunk went up about 20’ and splits in to four. Got it down and the canopy cleaned up in a couple hrs. Tried to pull it out but the forked trunk was snagging too many smaller trees. Ended up cutting two of the smaller ones 10” and 12” dia. And pulled them out with the B and a chain. Sky’s opened up and the downpour started which ended my firewood fun. Raining today so I wait. Had a Bald Eagle drop by and chatter at me while I worked. I have 80% of the trunk left to go

Yep that counts, have you tried that green slime stuff? It worked on my front that kept going down.
I spent two hours one day sand blasting the green slime from the inside of a rim on my Grasshopper mower so I could put a tube in it. It works great until you need a tube.

Cleared out a 120+ year old rock culvert today. This was old railway track now used for ATV trail. Pretty neat how they made these water crossing by stacking flat rocks so many years ago. And they still work perfectly.
