What attachment available for LA524 FEL ?

I have a LA524 for my L3800.

I was wondering what attachments are available to swap in and out on the quick release?

I searched Kabota's website, I would think there is a list somewhere but I can not find.

I am particularly interested in something that can do some digging like a Tree Spade.

Do you have the skid steer quick attach on the loader? If you do then any attachment thats listed as a universal skid steer mount will work.

I have not heard of this. I just have what came standard with the LA524 plus bucket. I will start looking into it.

I was hoping Kabota might have a list of attachments.

Where the Arms attach to the bucket do you have Pins or do you have two large handles with springs attached? The picture below shows the quick attach. If you have what looks like the picture, then your options are endless.

I have what you show in the picture. Happy to hear I have endless options.

Do they make a tree spade the will fit my loader?
Perhaps a bucket with teeth?

The Tree Spade looks awesome.

The only thing that I am not sure... and sorry if I am not understanding the obvious.... will that Tree Spade fit on my FEL or do I need some adopter? My FEL looks exactly like the one posted in the earlier picture.

Yes any skid steer backing plate (SSQA) attachement will work for you, that is the joy of it. Just avoid the MINI skid steer attachments as they are narrower!

Do you mean the part # for the Quck Attach coupler itself. I did a search and it seems like its a lot of part #'s

I have been seriously thinking about this attachment:

Not too expensive and not too heavy for the LA524 at about 140 lbs. I saw some others weighing in at about 300 lbs but I think that is over-kill for a loader with a rated lift capacity of 840 lbs and max lift capacity of 1.200 lbs.

The only issue I foresee is visibility. This attachment would seem to allow the FEL to do a lot of backhoe type work up to a limited depth of 4 feet... but I am thinking it will be hard to see what I am doing over the engine. Any thoughts on this???

I think you will be surprised how easy it is to see it when it on.
I've never really had an issue running any buckets on my loaders.

Is it as easy as a skid steer.. well no but easy enough, if it does pose a visibility problem put a couple of flags on it, like they do with snow plows.

My mistake tsafa,I guess it was Unionman who posted the picture of the quick hitch sitting on the pallet, thought maybe if it was right there it might have a model or part number listed on it. If someone with this style SSQA could post the model and or part number off from it, it would be greatly appreciated, Thanks, Dan

That looks like a factory Kubota hitch in the picture, call the sales department at your dealer for info ( not the parts counter).

As you already noticed the weights on some attachments designed for the SSQA are pretty high and that's because a true skid steer has enormous lift capacity and hyd. flow.
Even thou our tractors have a compatible mount keep that in mind when choosing attachments.

Yeah... I thought something was out of place when I saw 500 lb skid steer buckets.

You can add the SSQA adapter to your loader so you can use anything out there.
Otherwise your stuck with Kubota and a few after market offerings, and stuck beating pins in and out.
