I have debated on this one for a long time!

That looks like a better option than most as it doesn't sit quite so high. It cracks me up when I see even medium sized shades placed 4ft high above the operator. It'll provide shade from approximately 11:16am to 12:41pm and then you're in the sun again. The look about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

I made my shade out of PVC and trampoline material - materials I had available. It's ugly as sin but works like a charm. Not trailerable, of course!

You bring up two great points......the one in blue is the one that when making my own with a golf cart top has me concerned the most.......being ugly doesn't bother me as much!:D:)

I looked at that long and hard but I didn't see where it could easily be removed. This one can be removed in about 30 seconds and reinstalled in about the same. Most of the time I wouldn't have to remove it, but on occasion I'm under some trees, so that option is something I would want to have.

He doesn't hunt but he sure is a great tracker! He's in training for his AKC tracking title. Mostly he keeps my sheets warm :)
