Weird issues, who can help

Hello, mine is used as a zamboni on a hockey rink. this is the issue that started 2 days ago. 4 of us drive the tractor to clean the ice. as of 3 days ago, the other 3 cant get the tractor to move more than 2 feet before it shuts off. It feels like when the seat sensor shuts you off. however.. I can drive it perfectly with no shut off.

DRIVERS GETS ON... SHUT OFF... OTHER DRIVER.. SHUTS OFF... ME.. RUNS FINE.. So we repeat and the same results.

help, I cant work all 18 hours a day that we rent ice.. LOL

Are the other drivers lighter than you? It does sound like the seat sensor switch. What tractor, how is it equipped? More info on the tractor will allow others with far more experience than me to offer help/suggestions.

Hmm, are they shorter, maybe sit forward more in the seat? I'm sure as more people come on this morning you will get an answer?

I think they are angling for a tractor with a cab on it.

Perhaps the switch is bad. You could by-pass the switch to see if the tractor remains running with the other operators. If it remains running replace the switch. If it stops again I would continue to chase a bad safety switch.

Do they lean to one side or the other then they are running the tractor? The L01 series tractors are bad if you lean to far to the right the seat safety switch doesn't have enough pressure on it. Don't know if the BX80 series has this kind of problem. Something to look at.

If you can't figure it out, just name her Christine. But then you would be the only one to use her.

My BX does that some times when I don't sit correctly, the seat switch is very sensitive.
