Its 59 right now, A slight chance of showers after 3pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 76. South wind 3 to 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20% if it stays a little dry for the next couple days maybe I can get some mowing done

Sounds like an "infarkulated high pressure system" in northern Idaho and Washington.

I remember getting my first digital camera. I had an overnight in Spokane and wanted to go find some marmots to take pictures of. That day was 104 with high humidity. OMG. The marmots were smart and hiding in the shade.

I did survival school in mid-September and we spent a week in the woods up by Cour d Alene. It was all fun and games until day three the rain started and didn't let up for three days. I was the element lead and I had guys 20 years older than me crying because their fingers were so cold they couldn't tie a knot.

A couple more months and we'll see threads about winter prep. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Last week I got the 5th wheel out. Spent one whole day washing and waxing it, cleaned the awnings, etc. Had it looking all spiffy, then it had to rain on it. Damn!!
We're going to take it over to the coast later this week to one of our granddaughters' wedding. I'm not washing it again. So I guess it will just have water spots on it. That thing is like washing a greyhound bus.

So dry here Northern Saskatcewan is on fire! I am not sure how many forest fires are going on at the same time but the last number I heard was 23. We are 3-400 miles south of the fires and it's so smoky you can't see the sun.

It a real ery feeling outside right now!

From decent to insane wind and rain in twenty minutes. Drove past a truck yard gravel was blowing off a stockpile and across the highway. Was scary and awesome at the same time.

I feel sorry for everyone on the west coast , looks unbelievably hot and dry . And also the south and east with all of the rain and storms . I almost feel guilty for the weather we've had here in west mi. Sunny and low 80's some rain mixed in couple times a week . Been absolutely beautiful summer so far .

Now that it has quit raining for a while it's warmed up into the 80s. It is also hazy, something about smoke in the air from Canadian fires. I hope you guys get some rain soon.
