Tractor is in shop for busted axle (see other thread for sad story) but there is water in diff lube.
The diff was rebuilt a couple of months ago when vandals put rocks in it.
It had water in it then but I assumed it came from the vandals, but now there is water in the new fluid.
How could it get there?
Did they not get it all out the first time they rebuilt it?
Could it get in from being rained on? (I've tried to keep it under a shed but it may have been caught out once or twice.)
Haven't been in a creek, etc.
Shifter boot is in fair shape.
What else should I check?
