I've had to sick our Benefits manager on the insurance company before. After getting put in touch with the sales rep that handles our account, it was taken care of within an hour. 😂🤣😂🤣

I guess that's one of the benefits of working for a company with 10,000 plus employees. They do have some weight to throw around 🤣😂🤣🤣😂

Starting this year the insurance company has hired a nurse to advocate for us if we have issues getting prescriptions filled, doctors appointments, specialist appointments, ect.....

After that one experience and having to sick the sales rep on them, I haven't had an issue with my insurance, coverage, prescriptions since then.
Yep....funny how that works Millions in premiums outweigh legit claims being denied. Thier stance was like saying you played football 20 years ago. Maybe the car accident didnt do all the damage to your knee. Anything to get out of paying. I am glad Im out of that ratrace though.

Insurance company loses money on me every year. But makes it up with the younger kids that work for the company.

Insurance pays out $136,500 a year for a shot I have to take every 4 weeks.

How many years were you healthy begore that. My wifes cancer was around 130 with surgeries and chemo. Her first bout with anything tnough other than yearly exams.
Cancer was in her colon and liver. Surgeries on both, then 12 chemo sessions.

I'm amazed that this thread didn't go downhill or sideways in the 2 months it has been up. If this was a Ford Superduty forum, people would have been PM'ing eachother death threats, insults, posting 173682829 fake articles, and all kinds of other nonsense.

My family and I got Covid back in Dec 2020 (including our toddler and both sets of grandparents). Thankfully, everyone was fine. My symptoms were the worst and I battled a fever for 4 days + ongoing symptoms (fatigue, shortness of breath) that lasted many weeks. I am in pretty good health for the most part.

Everyone except for our child has gotten vaccinated and boosted, no issues besides a sore arm. We have since gotten covid again once or twice, however, the symptoms were similar to that of a sinus cold this time around. If you have concerns or doubts, go ahead and get the booster. We may or may not again at this point since the symptoms were no big deal after three rounds (or natural immunity, our a combination of the two).

This forum is great, glad such a controversial topic can be discussed without people flying off the handle.

Covid is no joke and people have to do what is best for them. No one has the exact answer for everyone. I. Glad your family is well. Hopefully we can keep it that way

I bought Moderna stock a few weeks ago at $130. Had been as low as $117 and as high as $497 last year.

Been hanging around $175 recently.

Don’t have enough into it to worry much; been fun watching it’s peaks and valleys.

Granddaughter (vaxed and boosted) lives with us and brought home a bad cold. I am vaxed and boosted and had same cold within a day. Required testing by school showed we both had covid. No worse than a common cold. We were both better within a few days.
One of my adult children lives a few states away. Her un-vaxed father-in-law was in the same general heath as me. He went from heathy to feeling poor to being tubed within a week. He did not make it.

Fate, luck of the draw, statistics . Who knows. I will get the forth booster in a month or so.

I must have a sick sense of humor, but I found this report kind of humorous, considering many of us fear getting a dose or two of a vaccine...

This guy got 87 shots...so he could sell the paperwork, or somehow profit from doing it.

Isn't it amazing how the war in Ukraine solved all the covid problems in the US? I quit seeing the ads by the St. Of Kansas directing folks to get the vaccination, nothing anywhere about it!!! Too bad it took a war to get it stopped.

Covid-19 World Map: Cases, Deaths and Global Trends - The New York Times (nytimes.com)
From Today & Last week....... guess when your not in Kansas anymore there is still covid.

The fact that this guy got jabbed 20-30x more than any other human alive and was healthy enough to get arrested "should" ease some concerns about the safety of the vaccine. 😂

AGREE...and, since other humans get four injections at most under normal circumsatnces, I guess he got a about 83 more doses than the normal person. NOT sure what the multiplier is though...just seems like a LOT.

I seen an article about him and it shows that he is doing well.

This is ABSOLUTELY not a question related to whether someone should get a vaccination or not.

This question is simply asking for opinions from those who decided to get vaccinated to begin with.

Free choice, no opinion to be voiced here.

Simply a question as to how those that decided to get vaccinated against the corona virus might think about a 4th dose.

AGAIN, IF YOU DECIDED NOT TO GET VACCINATED, GOOD FOR YOU, BUT THAT HAS NO BEARING ON THIS QUESTION.

PLEASE READ THE ABOVE SENTENCE AGAIN.

So I was thinking since we are "elderly" it might be wise to get a forth shot, even if we had to lie about being immune compromised, or even saying that we never got a shot before but now think it is time.

But after letting things settle in my mind, I am thinking that it might be best to just wait until things are approved for 4th doses.

Reason is, we were some of the first to get the initial shots, so we were also first to get the booster shots. But now, we are also the first to lose protection after the booster.

So I am thinking it might be best to wait a while and get the forth shot then if it is approved, or to lie and get what we want anyway if approval is not given by the fall.

Not even sure if lying would work anyway, but I would try it I guess...

What do you guys think that are in the same boat.

Again, if you believe that vaccinations are worthless (edit: OR dangerous), PLEASE leave this thread alone. That is not the question, and the intent is not to debate that issue.
I have a weakened immune system. I am diabetic. Type 1. I am getting my 4th dose Thursday afternoon. I am not sure if you are over 50 or not, but you should qualify. My doctors recommend the 4th dose. She felt it was in by best interest. She had a diabetic patient last week that is in icu because the patient did not get her 3rd dose. The patient's kidneys shut down and she is still there. I would ask your doctor. I also have a Rx for it. I hope this helps you.

Thanks for the update Henro, good for you and your wife.
My wife and I are also about at the 6 month mark.

Today I found something interesting while looking at my American Red Cross donor app, I last donated 3-10-22 and was tested for COVID-19 Antibodies. Test result was “Reactive+”

What does that mean?
From App.
Reactive+ test result = Antibody levels were detected at levels high enough that your plasma may be used as convalescent plasma.

My 1st booster (3rd shot from Pfizer) was on 10-08-22, so, in my case according to Red Cross Antibody test, after 5 months from getting the booster shot I still met the Reactive+ criteria.
I do not believe I have been infected at any time with COVID -19,
if I have I wasn’t aware of it at the time.

I plan To donate blood again on or around 5-5-22 (next eligible date) and wait to see if I still test Reactive+.
If I do not, I’ll get the second booster.
Maybe donating blood would be a useful indicator for when to get a booster shot.

Mike
Just passing info along, I donated blood 5-5-22, Red Cross is still testing for antibodies, my blood still tested “Reactive +”. That donation is right at 7 months from my third (1st booster) shot of Pfizer’s vaccine. I still don’t think I have ever been infected by the virus, if I have I’ve not had any symptoms.
My with got her second booster, I think I’ll see how I test after my next blood donation.

I have zero opinions concerning this topic nor concerning what anyone else should do, but my third shot (Moderna Booster) hurt, and I mean hurt bad. That was on 12-19-21, and my upper arm still feels the effects of that shot.

I am quite sure that my wife will get boosted when/if it becomes available and is recommended , but I am also quite sure that I will not.

Neither of us have knowingly contacted any form of Covid.

Had the Wuhan, got the J&J, and got Omicron in February. My immune system is better protected than any booster can accomplish without contracting it.

Booster, single shot, or not, everyone WILL contract some form of it, or already has and didn't know it. Most will get some sickness, some will not. The time to fear it is over. Lets get back to normal, well, what is normal for most, some of us are so A B normal, there is no cure. :ROFLMAO:

How about learning something from past experiences that may also be effective in the future?

Why are children not as effected by covid as adults? Is it possible to have therapies to avoid an endless series of "boosters"?

Learn about interferon. How fevers may be good up to 102 deg since they activate interferon levels. What about hydrotherapy? What about vitamin D levels?

If your tires keep leaking air are you satisfied to just keep filling them up, or would prefer to get the leaked fixed?

It is a shame, but not surprising, that our own government was working with the Chinese government and hiding the information.
Our government has been hiding stuff for decades. JFK assassination, Watergate, Iraq invasion, 9/11 attacks, Covid, Panama Papers, Epstein, billions of taxpayer money funnelling to Israel, the list goes on...

People are too busy arguing over petty Democrat vs. Republican nonsense to really care or do anything about it. I hope one day this two party rigged system goes away and the government acts in favor of the people, but I doubt I'll ever see it in my lifetime.
