V1702 rear main seal

I'm having a problem finding a rear main seal for a V1702-6660 in a Bobcat 743B skid steer. Bobcat shows 2 different rear main seals, but neither of them are correct the engine (I guess it's been re-powered before I got it). Anyways the rear main seal od is 4.000" (101.6 mm), and the diameter of the crankshaft where the seal rides is 3.352" in dia (85.13 mm). I don't have the engine serial number, can't find it anywhere on the engine. Any ideas on a part number for the seal based off the measurements?

Try taking the seal to a local bearing shop. They should be able to look up the dimensions and get you a new seal.

Kinda hard to do that when someone throws the seal away

It wouldn't hurt to give them a call. you can try napa also. I have had luck calling them and giving them the outside and inside diameters. I do it for speedi sleeves all the time

Only thing I've been getting on the seal from everyone is that it's going to be a seal that only can be had from Kubota. Kubota says they can't help without a serial number (they "claim" the engine serial number is also scribed into the block just behind where the injection pump is bolted on) I can't find it there either, or any other place on the block .

On the block on the right side is a cast in number it will give the ci of the motor.
I can tell you which motor it should be with that #.
There is several different motors that can fit, a V1902 is the same pattern, and is used as a common repower motor.
There is also the possibility that it has a V2203, some models came with that motor.

It has 1702 cast on the side of the block (on the same side as the injector pump), it has V1702-6660 stamped by the injector pump. The only number I can find cast on top of the head is 5 12 08 KLA. The rear main seal od is 4.000" (101.6 mm), and the diameter of the crankshaft where the seal rides is 3.352" in dia (85.13 mm).
