Unless you're a spammer spoofing web addresses, appears to be genuine US CPSC website, so not going to argue that.

I do recall something with some BX (70 series?) tractors and the cap on the Coolant Reservoir tank. Don't recall specifics, but also don't recall anyone reacting to severe burns due to the issue.

At the time, several members here on OTT got the recall fix.

My best wishes to you to find a tractor. The internet can prove or disprove any choice you make.

Some call that Analysis Paralysis.

This member responded earlier in your thread. You should find one like his.

My 2006 orange #2 L48 TLB, bought used in 2019, was only 13 years old, and also employs proven technology.

i’ll probably be buying a truck now though
Buying a truck!?!??! Be careful.

I'm kind of in the market as well.

There's a lot of problems with most of them.:oops:

Just look on the internet.. ;)

Jimmy - obviously I had some tongue in cheek sarcasm. I did indeed see some of the OTT members talking about the recall.

Literally the day before I picked up my last new pickup a fellow told me about the doom and gloom associated with some of the 2014-2017 Chevy 5.3 liters in the 1500’s. After 7 years, I’ve seen none.

I wasn’t very helpful, but I think you get the gist - don’t rely 100% on what you see on the internet.

I do sincerely wish you the best in both endeavors - truck and tractor.

In the future should you want advice, I’ll make every attempt to be a better resource if I’m able to do so. 👍

It's all good and I do appreciate all the advice! My broken down truck was sold, I still need to get a truck but in the mean time; I bought an Gas Ford 2000 tractor; the later 3 cylinder model from a farmer down the road.
I'd still like to get a Kubota with a belly mower but can't for a while

95% of what the site is saying is 100% poppy cock.

The B3350 is an avoid model, as is the L3000 but that's it, the other models are no more prone to issues than any other Kubota built.
So being that Tractordata lists the L3000 as the sister model to my L4300 in the model map … do I need to be concerned about mine? So far it works great but figured I’d ask

People please quit reading Tractor data, and making an decisions based on it.
A L3000 and an L4300 are not sister models, they just happen to both be in the 00 series.
The Clutch and Transmission on a L4300 is completely different than a L3000!
So no, no issues with the L4300.
