Take care when re-installing ... or rather...take care when disassembling... to keep the U-joints in “phase” with their original orientation. Use a marker and take pics to document the orientation.

yeah you can't get the old style drive shaft anymore, which is what you have. They have updated it to a one-piece design that has cv joints at each end, and is a 1,000,000 better design. I have never seen one fail.

Yes, if you order one for the RTV900W. There is a kit to change a unit to a one-piece shaft.
Do not just order a shaft and expect to slip it on and go.
