Trans stuck in 4th gear on M9000

My M9000 will not shift out on 4th gear, I have checked the linkage. anyone have any ideas?

There are 10 variants to the M9000, can you give the tractor serial number or the exact model variant your working with?

Start from the top and work down, checking all of the linkage.
If something doesn't look right or move right get a picture of it and post it and we should be able to help you figure it out.

thank you! I am down to trans cap. All the linkage is free and tight, seems to working as it should. Going look under the cap in the morning. Is there any tricks to pulling the cap?

I agree with NIW. If your linkages are ok, thinking shift parts inside. Pull the boot up and make sure no shift guides are stuck. (Never been in this model). I do see a Bowden cable. If the casing has any break in it. It'll lock up.
