I have a B6000 and it is in need of tires. It has Ag type on it now that work very well but the side walls are cracked and are stating to leak air other than that they look brand new.

On the front are Firestone 6X12 and I can't make out what is on the back I can't find a size or make out the brand.

I looked at the spec's and the size doesn't seem to be right. Can anyone help with what size I need, where to find them at a good price. Thanks

I have a B6000 and the tires are 6-12 on the front and 7-16 on the rear both are ags. I have been looking to replace mine with turfs. but searching the internet I found the best deal at tires-easy.com for ags. I am still searching for turfs because the rims are different sizes.

I ended up buying carlisle turf saver 22/7.5/12 which fit on the stock 6" wide front rims, I found them for $29.00 each plus shipping at smallenginewarehouse.com. For the rears I was looking for used 235/70/16 all terrain treads but they only had 1 so I bought 2 used 225/75/16 goodyear wrangler st from a local tire dealer for 15.00 each, still with some decent tread. I wanted the widest tire possible with an OD of 29"+ to fit what I thought were 6" wide rims but when I removed the ag tires the rims measured 6.5" wide. I will see how these work on the lawn this summer but I think 255/65/16 with an all terrain tread will be better. General tire makes a Grabber AT 2 tire which looks to be a perfect tread.

Leafy England....
I had similar tyre probs aswell on my B6000.
i swapped out the front rim/ags 5x12 combo and rear rim/ ags combo 7x14 with an all terrain tyre on the rear and a trailer rim/tyre combo on the front.

The fronts are heavy duty trailer wheels 100mm pcd with 20.5x8.00-10 tyres and they fit a treat, and work well on grass etc. The rears are wheels from a B7200 , 15" dia on a 10" wide rim, they also have the improved axle shaft securing method. I didnt think they would fit,but they slid on perfectly.
The only issue was with the tyres fitted to them, 31x13.5-15 they were a tad to tall and deffo to wide, made the tractor look like a dragster:cool:.

I found after much calculation that a perferct match for a 29x12.00-15 turf tyre is a 255/70 x15 all terrain tyre ( Pair of 255/70-15 Kumho Powerguard 4x4Tyres) to be exact.

so then ,checked all sizes/dimensions etc for both front and rears and all are a good match for both 2 & 4 wheel drive mode, and no worries about messing up the gears etc.

all in all a very succesfull job completed.
some pics coming shortly.
