Hi,

I have a L285 and am looking to replace the existing tires with something that provides better performance in sand. Our arena is small, and the front tires tend to plow when making tight turns and the rear tires could have more float, less tread. Suggestions?

Get a set of rims and turf tires for it, any size (similar in height) will work for you.
Heck you could even do a cheap set of wide truck tires.

I assume there is more freedom of outside diameter with 2WD vs 4wd, within limits of course. But an inch difference in diameter isn't going to kill a center differential w 2wd. I could go John Force if I wanted. It might looks silly, but it would roll ;-)
