We had a Tint company come to our house to tint my L4060 and Hubby's M7060, it took them 2 days but WOW is it a GREAT job!!!! The attention to detail is just amazing. We couldn't be happier!!!

Oh no Fried1765, we own 4 with implements galore. We just took the loaders and implements off for the tinting. I also keep the loader arms off when I Finish Mow.

We have an 2 L4060s and I have another one which is an L3560 for in the woods to get beat up. Hurricane Michael survivors here. Have a fleet. :D

I knew a guy once that said it is best to have one tractor for each implement.

Looks like you are following in his footsteps!

What do you farm down there? I understand Florida is home to some of the most productive land on the planet.
We are registered USDA Tree Farmers, but mostly work for others since Hurricane Michael (Cat 5), eye wall came right over our house. We lost 90% of trees and devastation everywhere so we are just now replanting pines. Some Long Leaf Pine and some Loblolly pines. We got some of both in the ground last winter, doing all Loblolly this winter.

THe trees you see standing may or may not be dead, all were stressed so bad and they die or fall constantly.

Most around us grow hay, sod, cotton, peanuts or have cattle.

Sorry to hear the damage your suffered.

Florida has winter?

We drove down to Florida a couple times in January some years ago, and it was short pants and tee shirts while we were there for a couple weeks each time!

I guess everything is relative...

If you don’t mind me asking, what did they charge? I called for a price for my lx2610 and they wanted $1500. I thought That was a bit much. And that was just plain tint. Not the fancy stuff. Needless to say. My windows are still naked lol. What a beautiful collection of tractors sir!

They charged $700 per tractor, each tractor took 2 men, 2 full days. The guys did tell me that my L4060 was much harder than hubby's M7060. I was kind of shocked due to the size difference.

We will have them back first of the year to do the other 2 tractors.

$1500 is very high to me, but we did learn you pay for what you get.

The other local tinting guy charges $250 per tractor but he cuts a gap about 1/4" around the glass, doesn't take the gaskets off etc... I would have been LIVID. I can't even imagine trying to work and the light flickering in all around the tint

That’s a price i could Live with. $1500 is just way too much. So I went to the place to speak with the owner in person, i offered To bring him the tractor, all disassembled, seat out, bare doors, back window out and he still said $1500. He told me he could do 4 cars in the time he can do my tractor. So i guess That’s like his, eff off price

They all seem to hate doing tractors. The guys that did ours was only in biz for 3 years so needing the resume of work. We got lucky. I would want to see their work before laying down $1500 for a tractor!!!

My tractor (Sandra on windshield) has 10% on everything except windshield which has 20%
Hubby's tractor has 10% on everything including the windshield
We also added an 8" visor strip to each that is 10% so essentially pretty blacked out at the top. The sun in your face is killer early mornings or late afternoons. blinding.

I recently had my truck done in 15% all the way around including the windshield

Our King Ranch has 15% all the way around except windshield.... we will have that at 15% soon.

We literally have NO shade here unless manmade so have to go very dark.

How bad is it to work after dark with 10% tint? Are the lights bright enough to see just fine?

We don't work after about 4 PM so wouldn't know. It is perfect for daytime, we could even go Limo tint for daytime, but I would think night time would be difficult.

The tint guys said night time was best at I believe 35% but don't quote me on that. It didn't affect us so I didn't commit it to memory.
