Hi guys,

Is now the time to buy a new BX1880? Conditions seem to have improved with higher inventory levels at the dealer. The financing is impossible to beat - which is hard to believe. The rates advertised are still 0% for 72 months until June 30th.

On a side note, the 80 series is about due for replacement. I'm wondering if a 90 series is on the way?

I would say buy and do it quickly! Why? Once you have had it about 6 months - you'll realize what you have been missing and the things you could have done with it years ago.

the 80 series is about time to flip - I would not wait, bird in the hand is better than 2 in the bush!

Don't know what the used BX1880 market is, but last time I checked there were over 300 B2601's listed for sale.
I know the BX1880 and B2601 are very different machines, but the indication would seem to be that there are likely lots of good used Kubota deals just over the horizon.

Don't wait. The time to buy a tractor is always now. Lol.
Since manufacturers have increased prices to offset interest rate "deals", it may not be long before they begin to raise rates on the inflated prices.

If you will use the financing, do act pretty soon. The price of the tractors is unlikely to go down. Do make sure a BX is the right machine for you. They are pretty small, but maybe that's plenty big for you.

Have had my 1880 almost 2 months. Love the size and its capabilities. Fits great in my garage. Great financing with Kubota. Don’t hesitate. Get it now. You won’t regret it. Mine has a mower deck, bucket loader and 3 point hitch. Just understand what it can do. Good luck.

80 series is 4-5 years old. I wouldn't have called that due for replacement, more mid-life. But looking at Tractor Data, came out in 2017, so 6 years. And the 70 series ran for 5 years. Wonder what new features they'd come out with?

Do look hard at whether the BX1880 is for you, be interested to know what you're planning to use it for. The 18hp is small for some uses. I had a BX and moved to a B2601. It fits in every space the BX fit in (it's only slightly longer and slightly wider), but it's a significantly more capable machine. It also cost only a small amount more.
