Tie rod boot

I haven't ordered from here, but booked marked the site, "just in case" ... https://www.suspension.com/universal-dust-boots.asp
Freshly-grease the tie-rod generously…. Take an old inner-tube…. Cut a rectangle out of it…. Wrap it around the tie-rod several wraps…. Secure it at the ends with tie-wraps or with safety-wire.
I did this 7 years ago with mine. They’re still in great shape. If this description isn’t clear….. Say so and I’ll go out to the shop and take pics.

Same issue here... no such part number. I've ordered several from AliExpress. The problem there is the enshittification of that website... vendors descriptions are beyond meaningless, have to hunt for anything like useful dimensions, no longer easy to ask shops questions, quality feedback submerged so far as to be almost impossible to work out. I would have ordered from local (national) suspension supply shops at 4x the price but they didn't have the sizes or couldn't be bothered getting them in.
Product quality? Impossible to tell but actually stuff I've got from it has mostly been pretty good so far.

I have had pretty good luck with the 2 piece split boots. Come in a lot of shapes and sizes.
I know not the right way to make the repair but sure cheap, easy and quick.
I used them once on a atv and they lasted forever. ATV was a fast mover / racing style sxs.
one recomendation is get the ones where the side slits slide into each other versus the cheaper ones that just butt up.

Internet slop is a thing on Aliexpress. Unbelievably useless search engine because shops put in irrelevant/unavailable products just to get you to their web page, then if the product is availalable the dimensions and descriptions often don't make sense. Most probably don't know what the product they sell is for
Sizes were as ordered, took 11 days to arrive. The quality seems good, haven't torn at the mold joins, price about NZ$2 (USD0.60) each. But I wouldn't do it again... mind-numbingly tedious process to find what I wanted
Save your sanity - https://www.suspension.com recommended previously seems best bet.
Still ten times better than the 100% useless amazon search that NEVER shows any relevant results on the first 5 pages and that I avoid like the plague for this and other reasons.
I normally find things fairly quickly on Aliexpress using the right key words. They too have an excellent picture search.
And yes, a lot of the sellers don't have a clue about what they are selling. If in doubt, buy from another seller.
Back to the original subject: the boots I use on my Kubota are from Mercedes-Benz, made by TRW. In my experience aftermarket boots fall apart after 2-3 years. Not worth the initial savings.

Also interesting about the MB boots, I'd mainly been looking for Japanese 4X4 and light truck equivalents.

As I recall, Amazon and eBay had several options for boots for a BX years ago. Some were better than OEM quality and I changed mine.

You would not remember by any chance who the seller or which offer on ebay it was? Maybe I was just unlucky with my buys.
The TRW boots are totally different material, they feel way harder than the aftermarket ones I got. The "rubber" looks the same as the original Mercedes CV boots made by Freudenberg. Again, original is fine and aftermarket last 2-3 years. And original is 10 times the price.
So anybody knowing where those TRW boots are available, I would like to know about it.
Did an autopsy on what are probably the original ball joint boots from my tractor. They have a steel reinforcing ring bonded into the small hole, and the large hole rubber skirt is trapped in a swaged steel ring. The small hole reinforcement = boot less likely to open up and lose its seal when the ball joint articulates.
The cheap boots don't have that reinforcing:
Perhaps the the small end will butt up against the arm the ball joint is attached to, so some sealing effect might still occur to compensate. Maybe. I'd prefer the original style. YMMV and YGWYPF
