Hi everyone, first time poster.

I have a 2018 M5 111 Kubota and i am unable to get the 3 point hitch to lower. I had it parked for about a month or so and it was working when I parked it. I adjusted the speed control knob to fastest. Currently the draft control is all the way back (toward the rear of the tractor).

When i move the draft control towards the front it will raise the hitch a few inches. When i move it back it lowers it by the same amount. If I move the draft control more than an inch or so it goes all the way up and makes noise like it is under load.

The position control knob doesnt seem to be functioning at all. I can move it all the way up or all the way down and I get no response.

Fluid level is good. I warmed it up before trying the hitch.

Appreciate any help and happy to provide any additional information, if needed.

Thank you,

Guess you missed where i said that I had the speed control set to the fastest. Thank you for trying to help. I can get it to go up and down a few inches. This stops if you lock the speed control knob.
Sorry… I read that….but guess I let it slip when I got to the “draft control” part…

My draft control is full forward…and been there since I’ve owned it.… in fact, when I tried to move it recently…it is so stiff I decided not to F… ool with it.

Probably a good policy since i dont need to use it but currently the hydraulics complain loudly if i try to move it forward more than an inch or so. When it was working prior to being parked, it was positioned most of the way forward.

Do you have the WSM?
Might help with some troubleshooting on things.

Two things to check:

The controls on that are cable run so anything can happen there.
Carefully see if you can observe the cables moving and pushing/ pulling the control end of the system.
Don't get yourself or anyone else in a position to be pinched / squashed by the three point if it suddenly moves.

The other thing that causes these types of events is an issue with the feedback linkage.
Make sure it's intact tight and connected on both ends.

Thank you very much for the help. I did ensure that both the position control and draft control levers are functioning properly. I can observe the control end move when adjust the controls.

The feedback linkage appears to be operating properly. Everything looks to be tight and connected properly.

I can move the hitch up and down a few inches with the draft control. If I move it more than an inch or so forward the hydraulics made noise like they are under a load.

I will see if I can figure out how to get a pic uploaded.

The issue appears to be in the housing the draft control lever attaches to. I can manually cause the hitch to lower by depressing the actuator in the h

I am not sure how to fix it yet. If I depress the actuator in the housing the hitch does go down but.when i use the position control lever to raise it it will not lower again unless i depress the actuator with a screw driver.
