Hello all
I'm new to Kubota tractors in fact I don't have much experience around tractors and implements either. I recently moved onto a 5 acre property in Queensland Australia and soon realised I needed something to help keep the grass down but yet versatile for other uses too.

I've just bought an old Kobota 3 cylinder 2wheel drive tractor with centre mowing deck. I'm yet to determine if it's a B6000 or B6001 as the serial number states it as B600 1 E 180 80 therefore assume it may be a B6001. I was not given a user manual not operating instructions therefore on a steep learning curve. This is where this fantastic website comes in as its been invaluable thus far.

Anyway just thought to introduce myself with questions to follow but first need to identify exactly what tractor I'm dealing with as I need spares and good service to start off with.

Chat more soon

Welcome from on top! :D

There's a bunch of experience with grey market (non-US/Canada import) machines on this board. Yours is probably pretty close to what we have here or there may be another Aussie member with your same machine to help explain the details of your model.

In any case, welcome and congratulations on finding a good machine for your ranch. I have no idea how I could manage my place without help from my Kubota. Sounds like you are discovering the same thing.

Welcome.

Ray (Another one :))

Thanks for the bed time reading link :) to a manual. Unfortunately my Kubota has had a tough life thus far but hopefully there's not much damage (touch wood)

Could someone refer me to the best possible source of parts, I realise I'm being hopeful considering the age of my Kubota but worth a try. I need left and right steering arms. Pic attached

You shouldn't have much problem at all finding parts for that tractor, there is a huge following for them still and I would say 95% of the parts Kubota still stocks and sells.
I'm hoping some of the OZ gang on here will chime in where you can get parts locally, or at least more local then us in the US.
Cheers

Hello and welcome ! I just bought a B-6100 and ordered all of the filters from Messicks. They had everything I needed and should have most of the parts for your tractor also.

http://www.messicks.com/

Here's another site that may be in Australia. Lots of parts for Kubota

Hope this helps. I suspect your tractor is a B6001 grey market, but I can't be sure. The serial number doesn't appear to be the same series as the tractors imported by Kubota, but I'm not sure about that either. I hope you figure it out.
