i'm now using the new driveway, turn around and parking area

some of the lumber from the salvaged trees

side project, installing some trim in the front room.

acquired a new rear end for the f100

a Mark VIII motor and transmission for the f100

now for the weather roof..and i am fixing the torn reflective barrier before i cover the sheeting...space blankets are great for the repair panels..

acquired a free hot tub, just needs the wiring fixed.. it's at the bottom of my to do list...

this years crop.

traded down to a B3350... has heat, a/c, radio, filtered air and quieter operation. i plan on tinting the windows around the top portion of the glass.
add more sound proofing, more work lights and an air horn.

Wow. Looks like my project.

I thought I was the only one crazy enough to bite off a huge project like this one. Good for you. You will eventually have exactly what you want. Its really coming together.

Funny how the little things really motivate you. My place came with a barn that was barren and nasty. My wife didn't think I could do it but the place is awesome now and its not even finished. The more you do, the more it motivates you to do.

Great that you took all the pictures along the way. No one would believe the volume of the work you have done. I look at my "before" pictures and I want to hurl. What was I thinking?

my L3200 had about 500 hrs on it when i traded. the front loader was needing new bushings in most of the joints, even with weekly lubes. i'm re-using my backhoe, it has a couple leaks that need fixed. but is still in good condition.
i am disappointed in the power of the hydraulics of the new front end loader. i'm used to being able to fill a bucket, with a single scoop-tilt action. i need to scoop-tilt, then back up and get another bite while tilting to fill the bucket on the B.. they need to install larger cylinders on this tractor..
other than that, it has plenty of power. even with my oversized 16" plow.
i found out that you don't want to go full depth with the plow. as you can't use the ditch on the next run. you will tip over.. good thing i had the front end loader low to the ground... or i would of been on my side.
i had trouble with the first regen for the epa mandated junk. but found that i needed to run the engine at a higher rpm, to keep the system happy. now keeping the engine between 2100-2300 rpm unless i'm cooling the turbo, prior to shutdown. or when bringing the engine speed slowly up from idle during start. i have not experienced any hard starting issues. i leave the throttle at idle and turn the key on for a few seconds, then start the engine. runs fine right away..
ps: if your curious, i'm 60, with a back injury and R.A., which slows me down tremendously, compared to what i used to be like.
anything over 20 lbs, i need help or have to find a way to get it done, using any method i can come up with..

i had to play with my new plow today, the ground is still a bit wet. as you can see in the photo.
in this shot i hadn't even got deep.
each trip i was lowering the plow deeper to see how it worked, also to make angle adjustments as needed. i could cut the soil deeper than the tractor could stay upright. good thing i had the bucket on the front or my new tractor would be on it's side tonight. from now one, i'm setting the limit on the depth about half way... for safety reasons...
as you can see i only have about a inch of top soil after three years of work.. with the plow i should be able to work more materials into the sand, to make the sand / soil more productive.

i had just left the post office this morning, when i noticed a lady cutting down her banana stalks. i stopped by and asked her what she was going to do with them.
well a few minutes later, i return with the ranger to cut them down for her. finding out she was over 85 years old and her husband wasn't able to do anything anymore.
so i finished cutting the grove down for her and hauled away the stalks.
now they are in the area i'm going to plant melons next year. i'll till them in next spring, along with some charcoal....
i'll return tomorrow with a broom and sweep the street where i dug up some banana plants that were damaging the pavement. bringing a load of sawdust to put around the rest of the grove of bananas.

I have a question that is more for the moderators rather than you… normally, when someone posts pics as large as these, someone issues a mild peepee whack (reprimand) because the large pics require most of us to scroll back & forth side to side for every pic & posting. Don't get me wrong, the large pics are great for getting a feel for all the work being done, but constant scrolling is kind of a pain, & I would think uses up lots of bandwidth.
Has the pic size limitation been lifted?

I think it's the post technique. I think he's doing the in-line pics and not the standard attachment upload process. These pics probably aren't all that large data wise.

Timeforce, you might want to make these an album here on OTT and post that way. You'll get thumbnails in your post and we can click on them to enlarge them to full size... Like below... (use the caption option to describe what's going on)
