I gave you the exact fittings and sizes.

The port on the loader valve is SAE-08.

The port for 3pt return is G1/4

Hey guys, has anyone installed a Ratcheting side link on their 3 point hitch? I sometimes need to tilt my back blade and think possible a ratcheting side link would work best for me. Opinions are always welcome. Please share your thoughts and suggestions.

I’m getting all my parts ordered and coming in. Hopefully I’ll be able to get started on putting the rear remote hydraulics on my tractor soon. I had looked at the kit from Tractor Innovations but with just the top link their setup would be over $1000 and I have been able to find just about everything I need for about half that amount! If I decide to add the R.H. side link also then I’ll be still under the $1000. Whatever I end up doing, plan to do it myself and I‘l post details on the setup.

I have been reading about the rear remotes and some have suggested that you should go with a system that has an extra set of remotes so if in the future you want to add something else to your tractor that would require hydraulic power. My B2401 has a FEL and I am planning on installing at the rear, a hydraulic top link and a RH hydraulic side link. So I don’t think I would need anything else but I am interested in getting input from the members on the possible future options that I may need to consider? I appreciate your suggestions as I have more questions than answers most of the times.

My answer depends on what sort of valve and outlets you plan on installing. TnT eats up two sets of outlets. If using a manual valve adding a third spool is $50 and has a near zero footprint. You dont have to plumb in outlets for it but you have it in reserve ready to go if you ever decide you want them. Its also the least expensive way to add rear remotes. No brainer in my book.

PS> Adding rear remotes with a full TnT for under $1000 sounds unrealistic.

Hey Dan,
I appreciate your input and I was really leaning towards a 4 spool valve. Probably as you say better to be ready than to regret not getting it now! Thanks

Hey Dan and other information providers
I have been getting the parts in slowly,
Money scare on retired income! I have the 3 fittings from Discount Hydraulics that you recommended. I have been researching this project and have ordered other parts from a company called Force America and they seem to have a great selection and best price I could find for the other parts I needed. I will be ordering the control valve next week and the hoses I need. But I have been able to find everything that I believe I need to install the complete system with both a hydraulic top link and hydraulic RH lift rod side link
with all the components, 2 spool valve and the needed adapters, a double coupler quick connection with breakaway bracket and all the hoses. I have located a Top Link and it comes with the hoses and check valve. And I have also found a RH lift rod side link. So for the entire system I will install comes in at just about $900.
Now I had to fabricate a bracket for the control valve to mount it to my ROPS and it will put the valve just above the PTO level on the right side of the tractor. I have included pictures of the bracket. Just primed it and will paint it the Kubota gray color. I sure that some may question how I can do it for under $1000! Well when I am done, I’ll provide a complete description with pictures and for any one interested I will provide a detailed breakdown of the parts, cost and source for the parts. Now that I have told you that information. I hope to get everything in or ordered after the first of the month. I will then get business and provide updates as I go. Looks like I will have to take the right side tire and fender off to be able to get to the tube and then run the hoses out to the valve. Probably will be an all day job. So I do appreciate all the help and if you have any suggestions please feel free to let me know. I will definitely take it openly with NO hesitation!

I have just about all the parts ordered, should have everything ordered and received by the 10th of November, Semper Fidelis on the United States Marine Corps Birthday Day that day!
have a total for all the parts including shipping and taxes, $927.73. The 3 fittings from Discount Hydraulics was $31.27. The 8 fittings from Force America was $109.07. The remainder of the parts are from Amazon, which consists of the following: Hydraulic 2 spool, 11gpm, 3626psi, Single joystick control valve with float; Double AG coupler with breakaway bracket which will accommodate the 4 connectors, Top Link with hoses including the male AG connectors, Side Link Hydraulic Cylinder, Hydraulic check valve kit, set of hoses with male AG connectors, 4 - 1/2” x 24” hydraulic hose assemblies, one fitting that I overlooked in my previous orders!! And the mounting bracket that I made and previously posted pictures of and last but not least a handful of zip ties to secure the hoses so that nothing can come into contact with other moving parts and cause a problem! I hope this will help someone who may be considering adding these two functions to their tractor. I can provide the exact detailed information on each item I have purchased for this project, if anyone would be interested. Please let me know and I can either provide to you or I can provide it for the site.
Again I would like to thank Dan and the other members that have provided me with an enormous amount of information and help in getting to this point of my project, I truly believe that I would not be at this point had it not been for the expertise of this group and their help and support. Thanks again
