Bought the everything attachment subsoiler Tuesday evening got it Friday evening super fast shipping . Great beefy unit . Super great salesman for double check'n they had one and get'n it out to me .

Put it behind the mf135 but its I guess a little to wet or not enought tractor it will spin out on me ..
Going to hook it behind the m7040 and see what happens .

I guess I need the the blade adjusted straight up and down right ?? In the pics it was at just a angle I adjusted it straight up and down after this pic ...

Or how does it need to be angled ???

Yeah, I'd say your ground is too wet.

Looks like you have it angled correctly.
Ya that's what I'm worried about is wet ground ..
It seemed to ball up on the grass roots . And not cut them but pull them out the ground . Which is fine for what I'm doing .

I guess I will try it with the m7040 and hope it works without to many sheer bolts . Was planning to use the mf135 so it I figured would spin out first . But it seem to spin out to fast .

Will post up what happens .

Sure thought wet ground would have been easier...

I have a friend that hooked a TSC subsoiler behind a 5085 JD and it didn't last 10 minutes. It twisted the shank straight out the back.

I have never used one like that but I will tell you from experience using a ripper on a dozer. If the shank is swept back it will pick up on the rear of a dozer and make it loose traction. If you sweep it toward the front it will suck the rear of the machine down and make it pull. Like I said that is for a dozer. The same may not apply to a tractor.

Ya thanks ..

And ya this unit is nothing to be Compared with the cheap TSC unit .

This unit is a 100% copy of the Fred Cain unit . It's twice as thick of the TSC unit . And unlike the TSC one this one has a shear bolt to keep it from breaking anything .

I seen all the bad Reviews of the TSC one that's the reason I didn't waste money on one of them . And got this design . Was going to get the Fred Cain one but there higher and on back order for at least 60 days says the company that makes them because of a cast china foot they can't get . The everything attachment one is made by there self and 100% copy with a steel foot and 100% all Us made .

But it's about having the shear bolt on these subsoilers as from what I have read . No bad reviews at all on its design .

But I got to get it working because I have 500 trees ordered and need to rip the rows before planting . Tress will be here to plant in the next two weeks .

Broke a weld and bent the first TSC sub-soiler I had within 2 hours of use on the 3800. I've sorta babied the second one and modified it with some Sch 80 PVC for burying wires and water lines. I will beef it up when I get the welder. I probably wouldn't use an unmodified unit on any 4wd bigger than the 3800.

We've got some large rocks here that have remained in place for the past 160yrs of operation of the farm. I made short work of them with the 2nd subsoiler. I've pulled up at least a dozen rocks 1200lbs and heavier with it.

And no, I didn't bust the first one trying to get up rocks, but I did hit something at full depth that really loaded up the tractor in 2L. Heard the load on the motor then PING! Thought I broke the machine....nope, just a weld.

Mine is Not a TSC !!!!

It's the way better heavy duty design of the Fred Cain type . It has a shear bolt to protect from breaking anything ...

The piece that's connected to the top link has a shear bolt to protect it from breaking it . It's inside the red area I draw in the pic .

On whatever tractor you use it on take out the shear bolt, spin it over and make 100% sure that it clears the rear case and anything else or it could cost you some big bucks!;)
It's a semi great design, better if used behind a QH just to make sure it can't hit the tractor.

I also think the soil is too wet and I think it needs to be adjusted to where the shank is angled rearward(from bottom to top) similar to your 1st photo of it sitting unattached to tractor.

As you stated in the first post it's EverythingMoreExpensive ;)

I should have quoted bulldog re the TSC unit as he mentioned his friend turning one into a pretzel!

Ya it's higher than the tractor supply $170+tax which would put it at $200 and then break with no warranty .
But the Fred Cain local if the could get one was $499 no tax but $40 in fuel to the closest dealer .
And the everything attachment was $360 with free shipping to my door . So can't see how they was everything more expensive..

But just thought you was wanting to think it was a cheap weak TSC one because it was yellow . I looked at them there and seen all the broke ones on the net and the store even stated they wouldn't warranty there's .

So I believe I bought the best one at the best price .

I will get it lined out tomorrow and get it working like I want I'm sure .didn't have time to play with it today . Worked cattle all day ..
Will post up how it goes and how I end up adjust'n it . And what tractor I use . And if anything breaks or not .

From the looks of that field the ripper did great. It sure looks much better than the junk TSC carries.

I'll give TSC one thing though. My friend took the one back that he broke and they gave him a refund without any trouble at all. I was very surprised.

Ya it's working great . Just the mf135 couldn't do it . Glad I bought the m7040 as I wouldn't have been able to get this done .
Got to paint it kubota orange though . Will do that after I get done since I done wore all the paint off the lower section .

And ya I asked them at TSC if the y would warranty there's before I ordered this one . And they said I would have to call the main office as they wouldn't at the store .

But I like what I got . It has the safety shear bolt . Plus it hinges when ya carrying it so it isn't hitting the ground .

I have been wanting a sub soiler but the TSC ones just don't fit the bill. I hate buying something knowing it's going break. I had forgot about Everything Attachments but I'm glad to hear the one you have is working good.

Yap working great and best value I could find in this design .

I wasn't to worried about price but wanted the best value . It was $360 free shipping to my door . It will stay around here for another 30-40 years as long as I'm alive . implements are something I don't ever sell never know when ya going to need it again . And they will be passed on to my daughter she can do what every she wants when I died with them but they should all still work the way they do today . I have about 20 or so different implements right now . With about 4-5 more I want to buy or build .

I hight Recommend everything attachment on this implement for sure .

I believe it's only rated for 40hp. I got it for $170 OTD on an impulse when I was picking up a few things for the horses. Outside of bringing the welds up to my standards, it's done everything it's been asked to, even things outside of its design. I certainly wouldn't pull it behind anything larger.

Fordman, you're really going at that field. Are you having drainage issues in it? What speed are you pulling at? Full depth?
