Stupid Question? Will 1402 replace an 1102?

There is a 1402 at what "might" be reasonable price but would it even fit in place of a locked up 1102 in an L235?

It might as they are the same series, you would have to do a visual check of parts, and then a measurement of the bolt holes.
Also note: Kubota engines are used in a lot of different uses, and a D1402 used in a skid steer will differ from a D1402 used in a tractor, or even an industrial use D1402.
And a D1402 that was meant for a turbo application will not run right as a non turbo unit.
