That is a great wall! I would like to see a picture up close on how you stacked those rocks. I have many rocks on my property but they are all round. I don't have any flat rocks here.Got it built to the next opening. Maybe 75 feet so far
Rocks and sticks are the skin and bones of VermontThis rock/stone thing is so interesting to me because I have no rocks on my property. None as in zilch. The creek beds are just hard slick clay.
Here are some closeups. That is a great wall! I would like to see a picture up close on how you stacked those rocks. I have many rocks on my property but they are all round. I don't have any flat rocks here.
Timber King is a good & reliable sawmill. I wonder if I know the sawyer on the Forestry Forum?BTW, the BSM that my friend has is a Timber King, fully hydraulic.
You can find good rock in the Granite stateLooking good. I built one as a retaining wall last fall using rocks from my property. Didn’t have to look far to find them.
You had some seriously "irregular" stone to work with! Like they say in racing "run what you brung".Brings back memories- but mine are mostly buried in the raised driveway project

That is my plan too. Here in Texas they build similar walls and them come back with smaller stones and fill in all the openings like chinking.
Your walls look great
