NEW MEMBER! i have a 1992 L3650DT that has deveoped a bad hydraulic leak from the top of my steering column under my steering wheel. I have changed the oil seal twice that worked for a while but after a couple of hours on the tractor it starts pouring out again. Any suggestions?

The L3650 came in 2 different steering control models.
Power steering and hydrostatic steering, which do you have?

Power steering uses mechanical linkage from the steering box to the front wheels.
Hydrostatic steering uses a hydraulic cylinder on the front of the axle to steer it.

The steering column directly connects to a hydraulic controller mounted to the superstructure that supports the dash panel and the steering wheel, sounds like it needs rebuilt.

On my M9 open station (hydrostatic steering) there is a bushing that controls the column slop. I had to replace that and get the controller rebuilt as the sloppy bushing was allowing the controller seal to fail. There should be little to no movement in the column.

On mine, the bushing is hard plastic. Not sure about yours.

hey man i see you have the same tractor as i do. Im having abad problem with my steering column leaking under the steering wheel. Have you ever had that problem?

No. I have the old style conventional power steering box under the battery. You have the newer hydrostatic steering with the controller under the steering wheel. You'll need to get some body parts out of the way to find out exactly where it's leaking. If you're lucky it may be a line or a fitting.
NIW can give you some guidance on this unit. He has the same in his tractor.
I believe this is your seal kit.
