Well, I guess I should go out & buy lottery tickets, because it's my lucky day!

Wife & I went out for supplies for the inlaws, and when we got home, the forks has been delivered & were behind my front patio wall. They look good after a quick inspection, but it was too dark to see much.

I will post pics tomorrow- again, too dark tonight.

Well alright! I am glad that you finally got them. I am sure that we are all waiting for your pictures and your initial evaluation of quality and workmanship.

Well, here are some pics, & initial impressions.
It's 38 1/2" x 28 1/2", tines are 15", (exposed) weighs 65lbs. (feels heavier)
Tines & top clamp (with threads) are solid stock.
Clamps are 3/4-10 thread.
Welds look decent. (not Nasa certified, but decent)
Paint is poorly done rattle can. Missed several spots completely-ends of tines, rear of clamps, couple other small spots.
Came with no packaging- no pallet, no box, no cardboard, which also contributed to poor paint condition.
(but it is a tractor implement, after all)
The clamps were plastic wrapped onto the main channel.
It looks well built, pretty stout, and I'm sure it will work as advertised.
Not sure when I will get to try it; I will begin working to arrange a trip to TractorLand soonest.

Now, one of the criteria I use to rate things or companies is "Would I buy this again?"
At this point, I would say "YES" to the merchandise, but "NO" to the company.
Reasons:
Ordered & got payment confirmation on 10-27.
I was told 1 to 1 1/2 weeks, took 41 days.
Poor communication from the company, took an average of 4 days to get any response, some queries went unanswered completely.
After initial delays, was told the forks would ship the week of 11-9 thru 11-13.
More delays, was told on 11-20 that forks were lost, and new ones would be made & shipped.
More delays.
On 12-1, PayPal account was charged, PayPal sent tracking info, and gave estimated delivery of 12-7 to 12-8.
Received it on 12-7.

I have to wonder if the forks were not even begun until late November, otherwise why didn't PayPal charge my account & send tracking info earlier for the "lost" set of forks?

Were there delay problems with the virus? Maybe, but since this pandemic thing started, EVERYTHING I've ordered has come in record short times. Why only problems with this item?

Anyway, I can't wait to try them. Had a couple trips planned to TractorLand, but canceled them waiting for the forks.

It sounds like this company has not earned your trust. In this age of internet and forums one would think that small companies especially would be sensitive to how their business is affected by word of mouth. Based on your report I would not buy from them.

I understand that S*** happens, and there are valid reasons for delays, but communicate that sort of thing to me & I will be a lot more understanding.

Gosh Bill, they do look stout.

As you said, imagine they'll serve their purpose very well.

That debacle with shipment/delays/lost, etc. is infuriating.

Another minor point I fail to understand is how UPS handled things at the end.
Tracking said it had arrived in Goodyear, AZ on 12-6-20.
Next day (12-7-20) it said "Preparing for delivery", then later that day said "Delayed, check back tomorrow for an update"
Then they delivered it on 12-7-20, just like they were supposed to.
WTF?
I guess not a big deal, but we weren't home when they delivered, (because they said delayed) and there is a huge problem here with porch pirates, so we try to be here when deliveries are imminent.

UPS is not the only ones that are having tracking problems. USPS is also having problems. I tried tracking a package that I am expecting but when I went to the USPS tracking tool this is the message I got.

"Sorry, we're currently experiencing technical difficulties with our tracking application. We thank you for your patience while we work to resolve the issue. Please check back."

Yes, they're having a tough time finding that tractor trailer that disappeared with a pallet of ballots.

I feel for anyone trying to get things in a timely manor lately. But when you are handed excuse after excuse, that is just unacceptable in MY opinion. Communication is a MUST! But lieing to customers, thats bad! He had tracking on the first one, he wont admit it because he never built your forks to start with. And that guy works out of his garage at home. He`s probably lazy and didnt do his part.

It is very sad indeed how companies and shipping dept`s are just lazy and stupid anymore. I paid for 2 to 3 day Priority Mail to send a payment on Nov 30th, it still hasnt been delivered to this very day. The place i sent it to is only 600 miles from me. I could have hitchhiked down and back and hand delivered it to them long before the payment reaches them thru the (worthless) postal service. But they all want to jack up their shipping prices? How about >>> DO YOUR EFFING JOB FIRST!

Probably a traffic jam of tractor trailers out there still bringing in more fake ballots.

Here`s a thought... maybe they`ve tied up every trucker out there delivering fake ballots instead of their actual loads, like LilFoots forks!

Well, the last time I posted on this was Dec 8th, last year.
Finally got to try the forks out this past week, and they work great, maybe better than I hoped. I didn't get to try them on piles of raked up pine needles, but I used then to clean up two large half-rotted dead & down logs on the high country property. They are far better than my regular forks for this, with more support & less length, which simplifies dumping into the trailer immensely. Clamped them by hand (no tools) and they never moved.
1st pic shows the 1st log I loaded to take to the pit. (seen during the building of the pad for my container, note arrows)
Last two are after clean up.

I also cleaned up another log, bigger, but shorter. No before pics, (I was having too much fun) but an after pic, and the trailer before hauling to the pit.

Well, got to use my tractor for the first time in 121 days. Did some more cleanup of rotted logs on the property with the debris forks & dump trailer. This makes 28 loads to the pit since getting the dump trailer.
