Sorry Newbie Question

This is my first post. I promise not to blow up posting everyday. But I have had tractors in the past. Born and raised around tobacco farms and bigger tractors. Bought a B2150 this week. I was told a new clutch was just installed, New alternator, new Regular and had a few questions:
1. When pressing the clutch in it seems to get to a point that it sounds like it is rattling in the inside the clutch area. Like I over pressed ion the clutch. Is this normal and just needs more adjusting or a sign of a new clutch not be put it correctly?
2. Of course being an older tractor all the stickers are going. I wanted to see if someone had a few pages of what levers do what.
3. When putting tractor into gear is it normal for it to grind a bit or again is that a clutch adjustment issue?
4. It was missing the front grill and screen. How important is that?
5. I see a few places that make mention of Bi Speed. What tis that for and how do I know if I have that?
6. Are these tractors maxed out with a 4ft Rototiller or can they handle a 5ft rototiller?
7. Belly mowers? Are they worth it? I have a 4ft bush hog pull behind.
8. Is the dealer in most reasonable place to get parts or is there a better option?

re: 6 - tiller
Unless all your ground is loamy/sandy/pretilled stick with the 4' tiller.
You've got maybe 18-20 HP on the PTO,not really 'tons'. heck, I've been stalled out pulling a 5' tiller behind a 43HP tractor ! I'd actual;y trade my 5' tiller for a 4' as I'm 'downsizing' operations here.

Consider your new ride a 'small market garden' tractor NOT a 'full size, commercial, 1000 acre ' tractor.

Nothing against Messick’s or Coleman. The diagrams Messick’s has online under their parts locator section are immensely helpful. For example, you can go on their site, locate the diagram with the things missing on the front end, get a part number, and a price if they’re available. If you go back and search by part number, it usually shows what models that part fits so you get a cross reference to look for used parts.

Your profile shows you’re in Lexington, NC. Sink Farm Equipment in Lexington is an excellent dealer IMO. My experience so far has been prices at both Sink in Lexington and Riddle in Winston-Salem are in line with or a bit less than Messick’s and Coleman. YMMV.

#1 Could be throw-out bearing, pilot bushing, little cv type coupling on pilot shaft,busted/cracked pressure plate amongst other things. Unfortunately it's next to imposable to inspect or troubleshoot without splitting tractor from transmission. On some but not sure about B2150,piliot shaft can be seen from underneath transmission.
#3 Normally adjustment issue but I wouldn't bet on that in this case. Why? Because any one capiable of installing clutches knows how to adjust. Plus there's the rattle issue.
#5 Bi-Speed is a lever when pushed/pulled allows front axle assembly to piviot so that tractor turns in much tighter radius than normally possible. Notorious for going bad and $$$$ to repair. I recommend not using it until you've availed yourself fully on potential pitfalls.
#6 4ft max
#7 3 point less expensive to buy/ maintain and more durable. Belly get into tighter places and do nicer finish.

Thank you for your welcome note. I am glad to hear about questions are ok to ask. I have been in a few forums were people ask questions and get told to stop asking so many. Even questioned why they even own XXX item. I am happy to be here. Maybe one day I can answer questions with some knowledge gained.

Speaking of mower decks. I see though searches that RC60-21b, RC-92H and RC-72B are the decks that fit my B2150. Not sure how old this information is but are there any other decks that would work. Maybe someone has a newer deck on there B2150. Not really finding any of the three listed. Lots of other decks found. Thanks.

I myself am kind of a newbie here, but I do know some answers to the question. 1.
If you hear a rattling noise when you fully depress the clutch, it could be due to throwout bearing issues. 2. You can check Kubota official website for information https://shop.kubotausa.com/, or just type your model+ lookup into the Google search box. I am not sure what specific information you are looking for, but that is what I usually do. 8. well from my personal experience, if you can find a reliable dealer, it's the best. But sometimes it's more expensive, and they don't just have the part you want, and you have to wait for a while to buy the part. Once I am just looking for some repair advice, and I found a website called FridayParts www.fridayparts.com they sell a lot of Kubota parts at a very low price. The quality is fine. I am not getting any paid, go check some reviews before you decide to purchase.

And check your parts carefully before you order. They seem to be very generous with their keywords. As an example I tried "G1900" as a search and hundreds of parts show up that are definitely not usable for this tractor. And what I saw they are aftermarket supplier parts, not genuine Kubota parts.

For example engine rebuild kits that fit the G1900 and G2000. Hello?!? The former has a Diesel, the latter a petrol engine. I don't think those kits fit any of those two tractors.

Never seen that for example on the Messicks web site. The machines that are listed for the parts always matched so far.

No, I do not think it is technical issues. They simply put lots of keywords in the description to lure people on their web site. I am not sure if that really helps, I think it only leads to lots of frustrated customers that do not look carefully and order the wrong part.

Well, Messicks have different prices, but then again they sell genuine Kubota parts, so we are not comparing like with like here.

Messicks website is great, proper description, no misleading key words, pictures of the real item, easy to find things, links to parts that have been replaced and you get a correct cross reference for other tractors. No annoying videos, pop-ups etc., not too much spyware, so performance is good. Can't get a better web site in my humble opinion.

To answer your question: I have not ordered from Messicks, shipping to Ireland is too expensive (not Messicks fault), I use a German supplier for my Kubota parts and various sellers on Aliexpress for the aftermarket parts.
