I have a L6070 I will be purchasing. I am researching the hybrid snowblowers. The ones you pull.
Any recommendations for farm usage?
Opinions on Land Pride? Opinion on Normond Econor?

Thanks in advance. Just dang tired of spending 4 hours with a walk-behind blower.

I can't help with the blower but congratulations on the tractor. Are you getting any other implements for it?

They are fantastic until at such time you get into snow about the height of your axles.
Number one on my wish list to have in my next shop. Current shop already to full to add any more toys. Meteor will be the brand I will settle on but many many to choose from

When I was a kid on the farm, it seemed like every farmer in the countryside had that type of snowblower. And most all of them were "Erskine" brand, being that they were designed and made in the the town of Erskine, MN less than 50 miles from where I grew up.

The only issue I remember anyone having with them was after winter storms and if the snow drifted in so rock hard that the tractors would drive over the drifts rather than through them. Or the drifts were big enough that the tractor would lose traction before breaking through to the other side of the drift.

I happened to drive by one of their outlet dealers just a week ago and there must have been 50 blowers lined up outside ready for buying or shipping.

Not sure how they compare to other blower brands or pricing, but I'd guess their quality is on parr. They've been in business for around 50 years or more and still going strong and now make a few more attachments or equipment for tractors and the farming industry.

You can check out "Erskine's" 3 point pull snowblowers and other equipment Here

They are on my radar for purchase in a next year or so…but I don’t have any first hand knowledge so I don’t know for sure just what I’ve read or watched. Makes a lot of sense if you plan to keep up with the snow. Not sure how they work if you have so much you can’t drive thru it. Maybe check out a review on LP - to me it looked like they had some helpful access doors for clearing jams or checking on the below the cover.l (but maybe they all do?)

here is an interesting video…
