With winter around the corner, I'm looking for a snowblower for my B2601. The dealer is suggesting a B2782B (63 inch). The Kubota Canada website doesn't list that model, and lists the BX2750D as the only snowblower for the B2601.

So, are all of the B and BX series snowblowers compatable with my B2601, or should I stick to the listed model? And, does my tractor have enough power for the 63 inch blower?

Thanks.

I would think that B2782B might be a little much for your tractor. But there's a lot of variables in snow conditions. The BX2750 is only 52" and may be better suited.

I'm a proponent of "oversized" blowers, as long as you have an HST.... I have a 74" for the next model up on my L3940. ZERO regrets.

I just ordered a new B2601 and my dealer recommend a BX2755HD front mount blower. This is the 55" heavy duty one for Canada with a gear drive case.

I just had delivered a B2301 and a 51-inch front-mounted snowblower B2781B. It is reasonably heavy duty and has a gear driven impeller, nice thick wear bar on the bottom edge and a quick mount . I didn't bother with the hydraulic chute as I will be adding electric rotator and an actuator defector, at a lot less than the Kubota unit.
I have downsized from an Allied 73 inch rear mounted on a Kioti 45 hp and think this will be just fine for Eastern Ontario.

The B2782B is only $200 dollars more the B2781B for 1 foot more of cut. It looks like if you have the loader then that makes quite a difference on pricing for the QH.

Just a quick follow up.

I did purchase the B2782B last year. Didn't have much of a chance to use it yet-not complaining though.

Can one of you post a photo of your sub frame mount for Snow Blowers? I'm adding the snow blade, And can't seem to get the geometry correct, I have a loader, And the loader mounts are on the B2601, The Sub Frame is adjustable for different configurations, ROPS/ Cab etc.

I took a bunch of pictures of mine and came back in the house and nothing looks dimly like the photo you have. Before I hassle the photo resizing issue, the male quick hitch and subframe model I have is the B2714B. Is that what you have? I have the manual if those figures would help.

Thank you for the reply, Mine is the B2714C, I bolted it all up last weekend But The Ring and Tunnel at the rear of the sub frame don't line up, I need a photo of what bolts the rear of the sub frame hangs on, I have the dealer checking to be sure that the components are correct, I'm mounting a snow blade on mine, So I don't have a drive shaft in the center,

There is a note in the corner of one of the figures in the assembly instructions that says "for ROPS models position the tubes toward the rear" and for cab models, which I have, position the tubes toward the front. The picture is about as clear as mud, but could this be the problem? I will look at mine later this morning, but it might not be much help. Except it could tell you how it is NOT supposed to be on yours

Pics. Orange is loader frame. Black is quick hitch. I think the tubes they are talking about might be the one that the brass pin goes through. I think the plural might be confusing. Do you have the manual for yours? Fig 1 is left side and 2 is right side. They are what the directions are calling the left and right rear brackets. They attach to the loader frame with two big bolts each. The loader frame holes for the bolts are horizontal, around the big tube that is part of the loader frame.

Hi Sheepfarmer,
I recently bought a B2782B Snowblower along with a B2714B Sub-mount. The only information I can find on-line is in the Parts Section on the Messicks website. Would you please send me a copy of any documents you may have on the B2782B Snowblower Manual and the B2714B Sub-mount information.
Thank you kindly,
Harvey
