Simpson Pressure Washer Oil

I will agree it’s not a serviceable pump. I have a Honda powered washer with a serviceable pump, it calls for 15-40 and every 100 hrs for the pump. The engine calls for 5-30 (if I remember correctly). I use rotella 5-40 in all the small engines around here (even the kubota )

the oil you pictured is for a serviceable Simpson pump and not for the Honda engine

I have the gift of literacy, I should use it.

Gosh I feel foolish….yep,been using PUMP crankcase oil, not motor oil. DUH. I know better…..or should know better.

Just 10w-30….. glad it doesn’t have a lot of hours on it..

It has MOTOR OIL in it now!!!

Of course, spilled some doing the drain….

Lest I start another MOTOR oil debate, I won’t say what I used.

I’ll just say I had it on the shelf.

I’ve done A LOT of stupid things in my time.

This doesn’t rank in the “BIG 10”, but does warrant top 50 status.

I should just go play with the ‘53 Moline. I understand that better…. I think….

After re reading this, did you use the oil you pictured in the Honda engine?

I had the same thought and probably for the same reasons.
