When I joined the forum a few years back, I added a signature. Things in life change, and I'd like to update my signature, however, now there is no link, profile/preferences/etc. anywhere, to do that.

Yeah, I've been on that page many times, signature is not there for me.

So how did this free loader create a signature in the first place?

Apparently this was a change mid-stream, and it doesn't seem right to be locked into something like that forever.

How about just deleting all the signatures of us free loaders then. At least it would be more accurate.

I discussed this with someone offline. I'm pretty sure the change happened when they went to the new software. As mentioned above, it took the old signature, but won't allow any updates unless you upgrade.
Not sure if it was intentional, but that's the way it worked out.

Actually, without upgrading your account, you can not change your signature.... seems that's one of the "perks" of a paying member.

There isn't a link to "signatures" for us free loaders 😚😋
I was "sniffing" around here and can find no evidence of anyone asking for a credit card or being a paying member. Are there actually paying members? I really had not wondered until now how the money flows on a site like this. Enlighten me. Thanks.

I am glad I don't know what a site supporter ribbon or a push notification is lest I be tempted to upgrade. Who owns the site? How many members? How much money is flowing and to whom? Any thoughts ? Outside of the local racquet club this is my only other membership. Is Mark Zuckerberg paying Kubota for my freely flowing "content" ?

I don't think I have a signature...and it looks like since I do not, I could not make the first one if I wanted to...without upgrading the account to a lifetime status, or maybe similar?

Just curious, as I do not need a signature...

Signed: Henro...LOL

No, even free loaders can add an " Avatar " which is the photo for your account, go to your account and look for "Account details" Maybe you can click on the link to take you there...
I see no reference under account details for signature. Adding an Avatar might be beyond my capabilities as I am still not ready to "jump into the 1990s". Thanks

Most places I've been, paying means no more ads. Here, paying means fewer ads, but still have ads.

That doesn't sit right with me. Pay me now AND pay me later.
