Found a used 2019 B2601 with FEL /BH that is what I am wanting but it is 350 miles away, was wondering how much I might expect to pay to have it transported to my place? I do not have a way to transport it. it would be a mostly intestate haul.
Thanks

Call some car haulers.. expect at least 400.. its longer then a normal car so it messes up there carrying capacity..

Can also look for hot shot drivers.. make sure they have a dot sticker and properly chain it down..

Some companies will transport stuff at your own risk.. so be aware

There is a guy on YouTube called tow piglet that tells you how to find hot shot drivers around the pickup area headed to your area

I’ve had luck with uship.com, I needed to move a small dozer and found a local guy to pick up area who was very reasonable, he had lots of great reviews for moving, cars, tractors and heavy equipment. Good luck in your search.

I was thinking $1 per loaded mile... so $350-$400 seems 'right'.... now if you can get a guy that needs a 'back haul', it'd be cheaper ???

Good luck at a buck per mile. Not gonna happen. Think I'd rent a tandem axle U'all and go get it. Don't forget chains and straps. Cops on the Interstate are all certified DOT. PA DOT is especially nasty.

Is this a private sale or a dealer? I bought a large Kubota (M9) last year 400 miles from here and had the selling dealer deliver it to the farm in the deal.

just went through this last week. Picked up a b26 about 300 miles away. Rented 3/4ton and dual axle 16'. all in with gas etc., $335. trailer came with chains/binders, truck was so nice found it difficult to part with, lol. equipment was top rate, very secure even through the mountain passes above Asheville NC.

up here, north of the 49th, if you tell Uhaul you're hauling a tractor, they will NOT rent to you. If you get caught, they make your life miserable.....and your wallet empty.
The $1 I said was US $. I've had stuff 'backhauled' for $2 CDN, as long as I can wait a few days. been retired for 33 years so, yeah, I can wait a bit....

I was going to say call U-Ship. I used to watch those guys when they had the TV show following them and they all seem quite happy to work for nothing, LOL

Yeah, I just bought a L6060 and I've got some quotes in the $2 to $2.50 range.
That's about what I would do it for. From my door, back to my door. Hell, at 60 cents per operating mile that's not a lot of profit for the O/O. If I'm not making over a buck a minute I won't get off muh duff.

Yep. I don't mind either. It's the cost of doing business now. With diesel prices like they are it's understandable.

60 cents per operating mile per minute?
I am quite surprised your costs are that low.
Vehicle purchase/depreciation, wear & tear (maintenance) fuel, insurance, tolls, lodging (if necessary) all for 60 cents per operating mile?

Lol, no. You misunderstood.
That is what it costs just to drive it. That's not anything else. Which is why I said $2-$2.50 a mile doesn't leave much for the profit margin.
If I do not make $1 per minute of my time then I'm not inclined to do it. I'm talking net profit.

A dollar a minute is $60 an hour! I can't make that as a brain surgeon unless I work on small minds! ;)

There are pros and cons to working in the shadow of a major metro area. It is also why I live just close enough to make it work.
