3 year old M6040HD was towed 1/4 mile to get it off the rd and now it only has 4th gear hi and/or low and if i try to shift to any gear it kills the engine i must leave the 1-4 shifter in neutral inorder to get it to move in 4 hi/low???

Sound like it was pulled in gear or between gears and has caused it to jump into gear, and either bent, broke, or popped out of the proper alignment of the shift forks.

I sent you an Email for the WSM, I would pull the shift plate cover and inspect the forks. ;)

My kubota l4240 i shift forward no movement i shift to reverse nothing they change hydraulic no problem resolve...the employer was using the tractor and it stop moving..after that they towed the tractor has being park now the tractor dont want to move in neutral either...

I would say off the top of my head... Clutch is blown.
Not moving in neutral... sounds more like a rear differential issue. ;)
It's sounds like your going to need to take it to a dealer or one very good tractor mechanic and have it looked over.

Sounds as if tractor was towed without gearshift lever(1-4 speeds) in neutral position. This causes a gear that's designed to rotate freely on shaft when not engaged to become galled to shaft due to poor/no forced lubrication. This scenario has happened to several older JD tractors(models 3010-4020) after being towed when trans shift lever was not in tow position with synchronized trans.
