serial # on 5240 ?

We have a 5240 that we can't find the serial number on .
I've looked at the normal places you find them, front frame, engine block.
Were lost, dealer needs numbers for parts and so far we haven't found it.
Anyone have any ideals where we might find it?

Model snd serial numbers are stamped into the housing on the Right-Hand side, below your Hydraulic suction filter.

Is the OP the original owner?

Is there grind marks where the numbers were once stamped into the front frame? Seems odd both the sticker and frame numbers are not there.

Might be surprised if the dealer checks the serial number and it comes back with a checkered past.

Got a chance to check the numbers today and you were right .
Found it right where you said it would be.
