I am not sure how much weight you intend to lift and/or if it's a 1-time job or not, but I added a 4x4x8' long pc of pressure treated wood (post) under my bucket and facing forward (like a big forward facing spike) so I could lift a big roll of fencing weighing (total guess) 200+ lbs).
No pix, but basically I used a very HD strap around my FEL' bucket and it worked fantastic ! (no side loading...just pick up, and transport) then set back down, back away. By doing this I added up to 6-7' of lift height to the bucket at the far end of the 4x4x8
If I had wanted to reach/touch something way high up (say, in a tree or on a wall) then this 1-time use would've worked perfectly. As it was, I was lifting.
If I wanted, I suppose I could've even mounted a pulley or winch cable to the end of this 4x4, but I would've needed to add side straps to prevent the 4x4 from shifting left/right.
Someday it'll go back on for some job or another and I'll take a photo
