I use to use a fertilizer cart and just dragged the seed in. A tire, old matress or spike tooth drag works.I have a B2301 and would like to find a drill/seeder for food plots and overseeding lawns/grass lots. What is out there that can be handled by my tractor?
In my area alot of guys buy a 4 row corn planter or a 10 foot drill " cheap" split them make 2, sell one and double their money. It seems like the smaller the implement the more it costs. Guys were asking 800 for a 2 row steel wheeled planter in the weeds with no plates. You can find a 4 row for that price. I was able to trade a 100.00 haywagon with new paint and truck tires for mine.Nice set up foxrunfarms! I have the planter already, No-Till Buffalo. I found a John Deere Van Brunt drill yesterday. I'm going to split it and Make 2 smaller drills. Thanks for the info.
