I say new, but tractor has 102 hours on it. I am going to a hydraulic top link. That will require a second set of hydraulics. Haven't priced dealer charge yet. Want to add myself if I can find the necessary items and some kind of a diagram how it should be plumbed. Anyone have good words for me?

Ok guys. Hoping there is a hydraulics guy around. what do I need besides a spool valve, hydraulic top link. Connecting hoses and fittings, and female hydraulic quick disconnect? Gonna tackle this thing by myself. Anybody? I found spool valve for 125.00, top link for 287.00, and female quick disconnect for 18.00 each. I have a friend in hyd hose business.

I'm guessing the 7040 still has about the same setup that the prior models had. I know they were a little pricy but it sure is a neat system. I had my second remote added at my dealer for under $600. It might be worth it to get a price from your dealer on what the kit would cost. They can't be that hard to install.

I has 3 remotes installed on my M8540 when I bought it. Nice setup with stacked valves and great control. You can't go wrong with the factory setup.

Here is a way to add more hydraulics if you have one set now. Go to Fasse Valves. I had six on some John Deere we had. They work great. It just plug in your one out let and make 2,4, 6, 8 or what ever you want. Photo below show it.
