Hello,

I tried using the search but didn't find any conversations on the topic with resolutions.

I have a 2022 RTV-X1140 with about 104hrs and 500 miles. I was using it the other day with no signs of issues. Parked it and returned several hours later to continue some chores and it wouldn't start.

I turn the key, the fuel stop solenoid clicks and the glow plug light comes on, I wait about 5 seconds, then crank the engine over. Nothing else.

I have verified that I had solid fuel to all three injectors. The manual prime lever pumps until I hear it send fuel back to the tank. I have 12v to the glow plug circuit and best of all I have fresh diesel and a almost full tank.

If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it.

So it is cranking (spinning)?
If your getting fuel in pulses to the injectors that sounds like it's cranking.
Check for an air restriction in the air filter?
Only other thing that nothing is adding up?
I would pull the stop solenoid and try it.
There is nothing adding up here?
If it cranks, has compression (air), fuel and glow plug power (and working glow plugs) there is no reason it shouldn't run.

Double-check your fuel, and make sure it does not have gasoline in the tank.

Does pulling the stop solenoid have a gasket or anything I should be careful with? I did read on some other posts that there is a "fine" adjustment.

Nope no gasket and no adjustment on the stop solenoid.

After further investigation, the diesel I used had white algae inside of it. The fuel filter caught it which plugged it.

Replaced the filter and bled the fuel lines and now it's working. What is perplexing is when I first bled the injectors I was getting a continuous flow of diesel. Perhaps it wasn't enough to properly supply the engine?

Any recommendations on an algae product? I tried to get what I could out of the tank.

Another question is about this small white piece in the tank.

Thank You
