We are getting a temperature overheating alarm on cold start up which goes away after 3-4 minutes of running. The gauge will be pegged to the highest temp setting at start and then slowly creep down to normal operating temp and stop sounding almost as if it is working in reverse. It used to not return during use the rest of the same day and now it sounds on every startup after the initial cold start and for only a few seconds. We have changed the temp sensor on the top of the engine with an OEM Kubota part and bled air out of the tube behind the cab. Any thoughts on what else to look for/try?

The unit has around 250 hours and the alarm started sounding after a trip to the dealer service center to change all fluids. We purchased with 200 hours, did not receive service history and wanted a baseline for future fluid service.

Since you have replaced the sensor, look for a proper ground at the gauge, check continuity in the wire between the sensor and the gauge. That circuit works by establishing ground. If the ground s good and the wire is good, replace the gauge.
