I have a B2601 with a BX5450 snowblower for the front. I haven't used the blower yet but the pto rpms for the tractor seem awful high to run a snowblower. Could I get away with running the blower at a lower rpm as long as it's a light snow and I don't lug the motor or should I always run it at pto rpm? The tractor seems a lot more quiet at lower rpms too. Thanks.

I have a BX2360 with front blower, and I tend to blow snow at an RPM slightly less than I use for mowing, even though same mid-PTO location.

I use feel more than anything else with the blower.

I'm with RCW, I do it by feel, lighter snow, lower RPM.
As long as your not clogging it up or lugging the tractor your fine. ;)
