I want to start out by saying I am a new tractor and implement owner, so I am learning.
I have a Land Pride RCR 1860 rotary rough cut mower. Can anyone tell me how to remove the PTO/slip clutch from the implement. I have taken out the bolt that connects the slip clutch to the shaft from the gear box. The pto/slip clutch is not froze to the gear box shat (it easily spins and moves). When I try to pull it off it moves easily 1"-2" and then stops. Seems like there may be a snap ring or something else holding it on the gear box shaft. Hard to tell. Plastic safety housing is in the way (unfortunately in order to get this off, the pto/clutch needs to come off first. What am I missing? Thanks.
