Decided to have my old 2wd B8200's tires filled, was able to get 25 gallons per side. Havnt tried any dirt work yet but you can really feel that 500 lb while driving around, feels like a different machine.
Price was $145 including 2 new wet valve cores.

I should do the bolt in a cup of water and Dawn over a period of time test. Photo once a week for 6 months or some such thing just to prove I'm right.

But I won't.,

Nothing to prove.

The dawn trick works fine if you don't hard freeze.;)
But up here where temps easily reach in the -20's it pays to use calcium chloride or magnesium chloride.
Yea it can hurt your rims but frozen tires are not good either!

This is true. I did test to several days outside at about 16 degrees with no freezing but you guys that get down below zero......no.

Sure as hell would not work in upstate NY. I'm jealous.

While the tractor is stored inside, I've had to move snow at -5F, compliments of what's called "lake effect."

It proves its never too cold to snow!

FYI, Here's the prices my Kubota dealer gave me for loading Rim Guard

14.9 x 28 tires will hold 53 gallons per tire. Two tires will cost $504.20 plus tax.

16.9 x 28 tires will hold 69 gallons per tire. Two tires will cost $606.60 plus tax.

Rim Guard weighs about 11 pounds per gallon. Windshield washer fluid weighs about 8.5 pounds. So that's something to consider.

106 gallons (53 x 2) of Rim Guard would weigh 1,166 lbs, whereas windshield washer fluid would weigh 901 pounds.

Also, swapping out old wheels for new wheels and tires (tires already mounted on wheels) is $100

You might want to call rimguard and see if theres any other dealers close by. That sounds a little high.

I guess that shows you how much the prices very from one place to another . Was at the dealer yesterday picking up some parts and while there looked at and priced a L3800 with 11.2X24 AG filled. They wanted $860 yes $860 to fill them. They also wanted $22,500 for the tractor before any add on or mods that I wanted. "THE PRICE IS THE PRICE YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BUY IT". Never did get further than the price of the tractor and beat juice!

OlThumpa what part of the state of Maine are you in ??
Arundel in York County. Those prices were from Wescott & Sons, 500 Ossipee Trail Gorham, ME. I don't think they like me, I have made offers on tractors and implement from them several times before and as yet, I have purchased neither from them. I have bought the same implement from other places for less than I offered them with little to no haggling. Their loss not mine, I have what I need and when possible I get parts from other places.:D

P.S. MB Tractor and Equipment in Elliot gave me a price that was almost $3000 less over the phone.
