Just a quick numbers check but they seem to be close enough to work and not cause any issues.

Is there a problem that your worried that the tire size are causing?

Tractor was still in 4 wd when I went on the road and there was a vibration and noise like the tires were out of sync. Also do not match Tractor Data .com
Tractordata.com only lists R1 tire sizes, they don't list the R4's.

Even with the exact R1's, 4wd on pavement will give bad results! ;)

Be careful, Locked in 4-wheel DR on hard surface is not good.. It can become damaging real quick, if your tires are not matched, It's like having different gear ratio's..
Just something to think about.......

Yes tires are rim sizes can get real confusing, What maters is the RC Ratio of the tires, that ratio is the difference in damage or no damage. ;)

I realize this is an old thread and my recently purchased m5700 tractor has the same R4 tire combination. Based on what I can find on tire specs the tires on the tractor data website (ag tires)would be about 55" tall on the rear and 39.5" on the front. The R4 tires that are on the tractor would be 50" and 38.5". I would think the 5" difference in the rear would make the drive ratio from front to back unacceptable? I know it's all math but it seems to me to be about a 10% difference between the 2 different tire types or is this an acceptable difference? Just curious.

Yes 10% is too much you want to keep it closer. ;)

After actually measuring the tires the fronts are approximately 36" diameter,(were probably closer to 38 when they had tread) and the rears are closer to 46" than 50" which probably makes it even worse. Since the fronts are pretty much wore thin I would like to replace them with tires that get the ratio back to where it should be. The tires on the rear are new and were installed by a Kubota dealer prior to my purchasing from someone who is not a Kubota dealer. Is there any way to know what the actual gear ratios are on the front and rear axles? is there a tag similar to what is found on automotive 4x4's or is this something I should talk to a dealer about who knows how to figure the tires to get everything back to the proper tire size ratio. Thanks for any help.
