G'Day,

My B6000 is requiring a fair bit of cranking to start it from cold. So i have purchased some new glowplugs from kubota.

To replace the glowplugs it seems that i need to remove the injector (or part of injector) to allow clearance to remove the glowplug.

Has anyone got any advice to remove part of the injector to allow the glowplug to be removed.

See attached photo.

Cheers,

Andy

Have you tried removing a glowplug, yet? You may find that once the threads are out, the glowplug will pass by the fuel line. If not, I'd remove the fuel line banjo bolt, instead of the entire injector.

Did it turn out that you did in fact have to remove the injector? Curious, as I believe this job is in my future as well.

Hans,

I havent done the job as im waiting for my deep sockets to arrive. But i think i will just have to remove the banjo bolt and overflow pipe. Pretty simple i hope, no need to bleed fuel line.

Anyway let you know how it goes.

Cheers,

Andy
