After 30+ years I thought my Rhino blade needed cleaning up. So I disassembled it, sandblasted off the rust and old paint, and added some brackets for hydraulic angle control. Then I painted it - orange, naturally - and stuck on some decals from ebay.
When I bought the tractor I had the dealer give me a rear hydraulics loop with some QD fittings. I put in a single control valve. Now I'm ready for snow!
I put brackets on both sides of the blade arm, so I can put the hydraulic cylinder on either side. I can rotate the blade around backwards for smoothing out the driveway. I used the blade for digging into the side of a hill - I'm making a concrete basketball court - and it works great!
