My bx manual said to go over the fel bolts after 50h.
I found one loose bolt

Had the wrench out so I did the tires/rims and found one loose nut as well.

It would be an ounce of prevention to save you from getting a loose rim.

Should be almost like a pre-trip inspection, upon first getting tractor and as mentioned after a few hours. As important as checking oil. Loose wheel damages studs and rim. Bot only inconvenient, but expensive.

I have checked the all my tractors. Most were fine but all had at least one that was under spec. So yes, I think it's worth the time and effort to check them.

It can't hurt to periodically check all the bolts/nuts/fasteners. Better to do it at the barn than to have something fall off in the field.;)
