After all that - now get out there, hook it up, and post a picture!
We love pictures.
I will certainly try to get that done this weekend. I just got it back on the ground after doing a full PM on all fluids, filters, and lubrication points, so now it is ready to get to work! Thank you again to all that offered information on this situation! Great group, glad I have found it!

He said that QH won't work on that MOWER. As you say it mounts to the tractor just fine.

Whenever you buy a QH you must make sure the distance between the lower arms of the hitch will fit the pin width of the attachment(s) you're try to hook up. Some low priced QH's on Amazon are too narrow. Sometimes you can reverse the pins on the attachment, point them in instead of out, to compensate, but it's better to get the right QH. Be aware of the size of the pins that come on the attachment, Cat I, Cat II, or Cat III. Cat I pins are the smallest diameter. Attachments for your tractor should come with Cat I or Cat II pins. Cat III pins are for large equipment. Most QH's have Cat II slots. If your attachment has Cat I pins and your QH has Cat II slots you can get bushings to make it fit correctly, or replace the CAT I pins with Cat II pins on the attachment. The less slop the better.

You must also be sure the height from the lower pins to the top where the hook (clevis) connects is also correct. Most QH have adjustable top hooks that can be moved up and down in a series of holes, or removed altogether, to accommodate different attachments. The top hook on your QH is fixed in one spot and limits the type of attachments you might be able to connect. One more thing, on my Harbor Freight QH the top hook didn't stick out far enough to hook up so I had to buy another hook that did to make it work.

Simple - right!

Some just buy a set of Pat's Quick Hitch, they are highly recommended by those that have them and are another option.
Here you go! It works! Thank you again for all of your advice. Have a great day, my friends!

P.S. I have had the Pat's Quick Hitch adapters and they work very well and do offer flexibility between impliment brands, but the QH05 hooks up so much better- to the right LandPride equiptment, that is. I love it so far!

Well, I tried to post a picture but apparently I did something wrong. I'm not a very technical savvy person. I do apologize for any no-no's that I may have committed.

To post a picture is fairly easy so I will give you a step by step and you can try again…if you want to.

1) Take the picture
2) Get the digital picture on the device that you use for posting on this site
3) start a new post
4) type a few words if you want and hit enter.
5) at the top of the post window (box) is a line of symbols. Near the middle are three symbols (chain links, picture of a mountain, a happy face). SELECT the picture of a mountain.
6) You should see a box that says DROP IMAGE OR CLICK HERE. Click that box
7) Then another box will pop up near the bottom of your screen with three selections. You can use any of the three but for this you should select PHOTO LIBRARY
8) then select the photo you want to post.
9) the photo should appear, you can use PREVIEW to see what your post looks like
10) select Post Reply at the bottom and you have posted the picture

You can add text after the photo and add up to five photos per post. But that takes a little practice so I will leave that up to you to do.

Good Luck
